Pleasantly surprised by this gem, the food was on point and the flavours at a level that a few restaurants deliver! Well done and thank you 🙏🏼

Service was excellent. Food was excellent. It stood up to the name that the area is known for. I was shocked at the affordability too because portions were generous. The service was brilliant, well trained and well able. Guinness wasn't up to tap but I am assured by local friends that this was an anomaly.

The food and service are simply superb! There's live music on weekends, but it's not always Irish folk music. Whether there's live music or not, it's definitely worth a visit, even if you just want a drink!

Absolutely fantastic, from start to finish excellent, hands down best meal out iv had in ages, thank you so much to the staff & chefs at the villager! It made my birthday extra special, highly reccommend & thats from a fussy eater, yummy! Can't wait to get back there👌

Fab place. We were en route from Wicklow to Galway its a 8 minute detour off the motorway and worth it. We rang ahead and wanted 4 they said they could fit us in for 4.30 and if we arrived early we could sit at bar. We arrived at 4 and we were seated at 4.10; perfect! The service was exemplary got bread before our food arrived. Water and miwadi for our kids was laid out on table when we sat down with plastic cups for our v young 2 kids; ideal! They read the situation so well. I had chicken supreme and it was delicious. With so many astro pubs not serving a veg these days a bowl of root veg came out to accompany it as well. The carrot puree was so tasty. Highly recommend

Excellent, very good service. The meat was very, very good with spring onion mash. The bread was also very good.

The food was spectacular. The Baked Alaska dessert was one of the best I've ever had.

Food was better than some fine dinning restaurants. Exceptional service by Molly and Martin and Chef Cathal, Manager Georgina Desserts menu was very original. We stayed in the Glasson hotel and was good to have something different. Highly recommended 👌
