As I sat next to a local who was 70 years old, and who had traveled the world he said, “Ireland has the best food in the world, and Ladyswell Restaurant is the best restaurant of all of Ireland…. I agree with him 100% now, I’ve only been to 20 countries and 49 states of the USA…. And I believe this is the best restaurant in the world AND Ireland for home cooked meals and handmade desserts from the best local sourced ingredients. After spending 7 days in Ireland, my son said out of all the places, including landmarks and historic locations, this restaurant was one of his best experiences, and hands down the best food!! He might only be 22, but he’s right!! I feel bad writing this review, it’s always filled with regulars and locals, not typically tourists, but if you don’t come here you’re missing out, not just on a restaurant, but an explosion of flavor your tastebuds will regret until we’ve now tried the bacon & cabbage, Hawaiian panini, chicken goujons, a special of the day with stuffed turkey and ham, mashed potatoes, mash carrots, broccoli, beef lasagna, desserts we tried included a brownie inside of a home baked chocolate cookie dough, ice cream, raspberry & hazelnut roulade (gluten free), coffee and chocolate cheesecake, lemon meringue…. If I could clone myself…. I would 5x to just try their constantly changing menu and everything that comes out of their wild imagination to eat here…. This place is BRILLIANT, and if you don’t eat here while visiting the Rock of Cashel, you’ve made a mistake… and you have NOT experienced Ireland yet!!!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. We went for lunch after Rock of Cashel. We got the stuffed turkey and pork specials, and they were delicious. Incredibly friendly service. Someone in my family tried a dessert and said it was amazing.

We had lunch at Ladyswell. They had the soup of the day, mushroom soup, and Cajun chicken pani. For dessert, we had cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious; I highly recommend it. The service was very attentive and great with kids. If you're looking for a bite to eat near the Rock of Cashel, this is definitely my recommendation.

Delicious lunch and as others have said, the roulade was outstanding!!

Really enjoyed my meal here! The seafood soup was delicious, and the raspberry cake was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a pleasant surprise we found in Cashel, a beautiful town where we stopped to visit Rock of Cashel Castle! The food was absolutely delicious, with amazing daily specials, generous portions, a very welcoming atmosphere, quick service, and the waitresses were incredibly patient with our English and very kind and attentive. If you visit Rock of Cashel, don't hesitate to stop for a meal.
