The best restaurants in Cashel legal

22/07/2026: We stopped in for a quick snack after leaving the Rock of Cashel. It is very convenient location at the edge of the parking lot, but also the lemon cake and whiskey cake were quite delicious.

20/07/2026: Disappointed, we returned a year later, and while the restaurant was still just as crowded, the dishes had changed. The regular version was exactly the same as the children's version. The price, however, was more than double. Far too expensive for what was served. The waitress, on the other hand, was very nice.

31/07/2026: Perfect for a quick and delicious break in this unique bakery. The service is excellent and fast. There are two floors above the shop where you can sit and enjoy your purchase and a hot drink. The shortbread and carrot cake are perfect.

01/07/2026: Had a great lunch here after visiting the Rock of Cashel. My wife is a big liver pate fan, and loved it. I had the Beef Blaa and enjoyed it. Would highly recommend this place.

15/07/2026: Delicious food and fantastic service from Leanne. She was very helpful and had a good knowledge of allergens. They were more than happy to help and accommodate my dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend for food and a great overall experience. Make sure you prebook a table!

26/05/2026: The hotel is okay, the rooms are nice. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't included, and the price isn't exactly cheap. The hotel is centrally located, and everything is within walking distance.

12/07/2026: What a pub. Staff super friendly, have made my family and myself feel so welcome whenever we visit. Its a proper pub, that will do you a toastie if youre feeling a bit peckish. Our 1st port if call everytime we visit Cashel. Oh, the Guinness is the dogs nuts as well!!

21/06/2026: I didn’t expect the food here to be as good as it was as it was just going to be a quick pitstop for us. I had the crepe with marshmallows (magic mallows) and the crepe was so fluffy which went well with the melted marshmallows. My dad had the chicken tikka wrap as a savoury dish and it the chicken was very tender and flavourful. I also enjoyed the soup that came with it. The service did take awhile as we had to queue for quite a bit before getting our orders as they make the crepe right after ordering meaning we had to wait until the person in front of us got their order. I also initially ordered the biscoff ice cream but was accidentally given the roast banana flavour. I personally didn’t mind though as it did taste really nice.
