We popped in after the Rock of Cashel for a coffee and we were met with the most incredible, kind hospitality. Further, they gave us some brilliant recommendations for our onward journey. Highly highly highly recommend 5/5

It's a very nice place, with an amazingly good atmosphere. The price-value ratio is also excellent, but what made it truly memorable was the friendly service.

Great stop for a quick bite to hold over after a long day of exploring. Gentleman working the counter was very friendly and gave us exact directions for a more scenic route to our destination. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you again!

Gem of a place. Perfect for a snack or quick bite to eat. Variety of cakes and pies, especially the elusive rhubarb pie ( which was fantastic). Really enjoyed the friendly attention and had a great tea there with the family. Well priced and delicious.

This cafe is absolutely lovely! The cake was soo good! We had the apple tart, the lemon cake and the Bakewell tart and they were all delicious. The owners of the cafe are incredibly nice and welcoming! It’s the perfect place to eat after visiting the Rock of Cashel.

Cozy little place to take a short rest. Had a lovely tart/pie and a drink. Very good prices. The people are very friendly. We were sitting outside which was nice except for the wasps. The wasps also know the pies are good.

28/04/2026: We went for Sunday lunch here and were so delighted with our experience. The building itself is so beautiful, and worth stopping in for a drink even if you don't have time for a meal. I'm vegan and couldn't see anything listed on the menu, but they were able to provide me with a delicious 3 course meal, a vegan surprise, if you will :) Often the vegan options at places feel like an afterthought, something quickly thrown together, but this meal was so good I ate every bite. The servers were wonderful too, with one of them even offering to run to the shop to grab plant-based milk when they were out of it (above and beyond!! Obviously I said it wasn't necessary, haha). Also very reasonably priced for such quality of food. Highly recommend!

14/05/2026: Had lunch here. Service and food was excellent. Very busy place. Great to be able to sit outside still sheltered from rain. On a cold winters evening a nice warm coal fire burning. Ideal for a private party upstairs.
10/05/2026: Very cozy place. We ordered the soup of the day for lunch and it was delicious.
