The best restaurants in Tipperary

30/08/2024: The Irish use the word “perfect” often but it actually describes this delightful little cafe. It’s a perfect place for great casual food and excellent service. We ordered four different items and they were all delicious. Don’t miss it.

28/08/2024: Really good place for breakfast. They have gluten free bread and make delicious toast and different types. Highly recommend it for celiacs

21/08/2024: We had a gorgeous lunch today served by genuinely interested staff. Good variety of choice,well priced, everywhere spotlessly clean. To see a restaurant buzzing on a Tuesday is a great testimony to you all, well done

26/08/2024: The place is a located a short distance from Cashel. It was nice to get out of the town for a change and try something new. On arrival, there was plenty of parking right beside the restaurant. As we entered the staff were so nice. Walking in though it felt more like a workplace than a warm welcome atmosphere. We were brought to our table and given menus. The food looked and sounded amazing. We ordered and didn't have to wait to long to get our starters and mains. They do a 2 course meal for 37pp. They do a 3 course meal too for I think 47 euro. The mains came and it looked incredible. I got the steak. I ordered the steak. It was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten, cooked to perfection and charred. My issue was the sauce was lukewarm and the puree and what looked like cabbage mash was stone cold. Then the potato was roasting. I think timing was just off in the kitchen. A big thing for me though was, we spent the whole hour and a half brushing away flies. They were everywhere. Flying, on the table, on the plates. They were fruit flies. Not a bad thing against the restaurant but it's something that needs to be looked at because it was so frustrating. The flowers on the table were a nice touch but they looked dead, and they were fake. Will I go back? . Yes I'll go back 😁 There is also a pub 2min walk from the restaurant if you want a pint after 🍻

05/08/2024: Delighted we found this gem on our stop from Cork to Dublin... staff were very friendly and polite. Good choice menu & good menus for children. Food was excellent!! Nicest roast beef dinner I've eaten in a while. The summer salad starter was so refreshing! Everything was 5 ✨️ The decor is beautiful and lots of space. We will definitely be back, highly recommend trying it!!! Well worth coming off m8 for it!!!

02/09/2024: 5 Americans looking for a meal and a beer left a competitor pub around the corner and wandered into the finest locals' Pub ever! The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. The owners made us feel like one of the family. The food was delicious, and the portions were eye-popping! Take away was absolutely necessary.

03/09/2024: Michelin star?? Not so much. Food was fine. Of our foursome, 2 of us had the braised lamb, one had a goat cheese salad, and one had the parmesean chicken salad. All dishes were fine but staff was not attentive (interested). Not once were we asked if we needed anything or how the meal was. We had to chase them down for drinks, sides, and to pay the bill. No, they seemed uninterested in offering us dessert and the maitre 'd scouled at us every time he walked by as if to be entirely inconvenienced by our presence. Dining should be an experience, not just food to fill your gut and get out. Of the dozens of dining experiences we had throughout our 2 weeks in Ireland, this was by far at the bottom of the list.

02/09/2024: Fantastic. Pre drinks area nice and intimate with a very friendly attentive barman. Restaurant area feels very cosy yet spacious with gorgeous lofted church ceiling and interesting paintings adorning the walls. Wait staff are very accommodating and plesant. Food was simply divine I had the duck starter and wow!! Mains were lamb 3 way which I would highly recommend and my husband had the fillet of steak - also amazing, nicest we have both tasted!! For dessert I had the coffee semifreddo and it was divine!

10/09/2024: We were there at the end of May. In the center, public parking right in front. Rooms, cafeteria and breakfast area with a very cozy atmosphere and everything very clean. Don't worry. Very complete breakfasts. Possibility of having lunch and dinner in the same hotel.
