Good local pub in Terryglass. Decent pub food, nice pint and good atmosphere with live music. Definitely worth a visit if even for a drink or to watch a game on TV.
Stayed in our campervan for new year's eve. The pub was very busy but the service was excellent and the food was very tasty. We stayed in the bar to ring in the new year. Staff all very nice and all locals were very friendly. Guinness top class. Would return again

My lodging happened to be in Terryglass, which was also lovely. There were two restaurants listed when I booked, but the other was closed during my visit.
I did not catch the blonde, more mature, bar keepers name, though I had the pleasure of interacting with her several times. She was prompt, very tidy, and nice to chat with when there wasn't another person to serve. The pub has very limited parking, though there is another area to park and have a short walk. There is a good-sized back patio with covering against the rain 🌧 and a few tables along the front. There is a nice fireplace in the main dining area and several seats along the bar top. My only meal was the Paddy Burger 🍔 and chips 🍟 with a glass of Guinness 🍺. The burger was 100% Irish cow 🐄 and it was VERY flavorful.
If you are staying nearby or passing through because you were brave enough to leave the highway 🛣 behind, I recommend stopping in.
