The best restaurants in Tipperary

10/08/2026: Stopped off for breakfast and was happy I did. There was a short queue as I drove by waiting to be seated and again after I entered which is always a good sign, I was seated quickly, service was prompt and was not waiting long for the food. Full Irish was very nice and well priced and the atmosphere in the place was good as well.

29/07/2026: We visited Up Eats for the first time today but it certainly won't be the last time. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and the staff were friendly. A particular shout out to Mags who went above and beyond to provide a great service I would highly recommend this cafe.

17/08/2026: A typical restaurant in the center of Clonmel, ideal for a traditional breakfast, brunch, or lunch. We opted for the Irish Breakfast, which lived up to expectations.

10/07/2026: It's always lovely to eat here. Staff go out of their way to help you. Some of the tables could have done with a wipe though. It was in the middle of a heatwave in saying that and hard enough to work in.

15/09/2026: Jan 25 - Dined in their new extension today 4 brekkie. Wow, amazing breakfast !!! Quality food, served hot 🔥 the breakfast bap with potato sides and 2nd dish of hot sausage, poached eggs and tomato sauce on some of those potatoes. We hovered it up. Planned a sweet treat to finish, but we were full for the day. Lovely young , kind, and polite staff !!!! Highly recommend. Forgot to take photos of dishes (excuse to to back) Sept 24 -Sat outside for an almond hot chocolate and a protien ball on Friday in beautiful September sunshine. Everything was delicious.

29/08/2026: SORRY: charging 17,40 for two coffeas, one plain croissant and one scone with cream is TOO MUCH. great quality but nothing justifies this price.

19/09/2026: Beautiful golf course fantastic greens course in great shape lovely clubhouse great food fantastic service overall a great place to play golf.

12/08/2026: Great value for money! Greens are in fantastic shape 4/5 Fairways were some of the best before the heat wave mid summer 2026 4/5 Tee boxes 4/5 Bunkers were kept well 4/5 Lads in the pro shop were very nice and accommodating. Club house serves food! Putting and chipping green was reflective of the course conditions. Did not use the range but there was one there.

24/08/2026: Disappointed with how my husband was treated by a member of staff in the bar. He was rudely spoken to when he went to order drinks. Truly saddened with the behaviour of this particle member of bar staff. The waitress that served us was wonderful but my husband did not enjoy the rest of his evening for our friends birthday because he was spoken to in such a rude way.

17/07/2026: Attended a wedding here. No management presence, ramshackle service, untrained staff. When you see staff using floor brushes to 'sweep' the bar counter top it's not a good sign. Food no better. It's in a beautiful location with a well attended garden and a great, comfortable space inside. Wouldn't take much for it to really shine and be worth the price tag.

30/09/2026: Pancakes are really good. Smiling staff would be a nice addition...not rude but not friendly either.

03/08/2026: TOFU SPICEBAG!! Delicious big perfectly cooked chunks of tofu with the perfect ratio of seasoning, veg and chips that were neither oily nor dry, plus the satay spot on 👌

24/09/2026: Very delicious pizzas and worth every penny. Was visiting the castle nearby and spotted them. Good thing we tried them. Amazing food and even better service. Amazing service. Will surely suggest anyone to try it. Also their fries are just too good not to try. The best fries I had in a very long time.

13/08/2026: Pizza was delicious. Each pizza was definitely big enough to serve at least 2 maybe 3 people. The setting next to the park/castle can't be beat! It was a nice way to let the kids run around while the adults enjoyed dinner.

17/09/2026: Went there yesterday for a pint and a meal. Great service, great food. My wife rated the seafood chowder as the best she has had in Ireland. That's a big call since we have had some rippers. My friend and I had the Junction burger which was great. 10 out of 10.

05/07/2026: Food was perfect, catered for our baby. Great menu. Steak and fish were well flavored. Staff are always attentive. Well worth it. Dont understand some of other reviews. "Very noisy and not very romantic). If you want quietness and romance got to the cinema or stay at home under a dim light with a candle on the coffee table wrapped up on the couch with a duvet and a bag of Hunky Dorys watching 50 shades of grey Its not a matchmakers restaurant. Well done to MJ and his staff, perfect every time.👌👌👌👌👌

23/09/2026: The chicken and wraps were delicious, as were the sides. Nice pub and friendly staff.

15/09/2026: We visited the restaurant as part of a day trip around Tipperary, specifically prior to our visit of the Cahir Castle. The food was set with the rest of our tour group, which we had a main course (beef stew) and dessert (might have been panna cotta?) - was tasty!

28/08/2026: Beautiful pub. Food was excellent. Has such a family feel. Great for a family meal. Would definitely recommend

14/08/2026: 2023 Stopped for food and had a fantastic meal. The people beside us were drinking Guinness and they looked great pints but unfortunately I had the car so couldn't sample one for myself. 2024 Stopped for food on a trip to Kerry. Such a disappointment after last year's great experience. Chicken goujons were as hard as a rock and the prices have jumped up hugely. I said it to a member of staff who apologised and said it was a new chef/cook in the kitchen. No offer of a discount or anything. Such a pity we have stopped there numerous times over the years but won't be back. So sorry to hear that,I will call again in the future
