07/07/2025: a bit pricey, but lovely pub/restaurant, really nice staff. For a town that has made great efforts in developing their tourist business, to have a pond in the middle of the town full of rotting boats is certainly a misguided decision.

05/07/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend the hotel at all. While the service was quite good, parking was available near the centrally located hotel, and the room was okay for a 3-star hotel, clean and sufficiently large. The bathroom, however, was a disaster—everything was either yellowed, rusted, dirty, or moldy. It was incredibly loud; you could hear every door, every use of the plumbing, and every footstep in all the surrounding rooms all night long. The dining room was uncomfortable and cold, the food unappealing, and the chairs and dishes were damaged. Cahir Castle and Swiss Cottage may be worth a drive through, but in my opinion, an overnight stay in the village is unfortunately not worth it, especially given the lack of good places to eat.

09/07/2025: This beautiful bakery in the centre of Cashel makes fabulous food. Everything is delicious. The bread is lovely and fluffy. The spinach and cheese tarts and sausage rolls are consistently delicious. Always pairs well with a lovely coffee.
