11/11/2024: Thank you Clare, Davie, Ned and team, for looking after our large family group last month. Having our event in Raheen, meant so much to us, as it was where I spent a lot of my childhood there with my grandparents. Ned the rare beef was much appreciated by all. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to any requests.
02/11/2024: Sunday lunch was excellent. The waiting staff are very good. Our waitress was excellent. Went for 4 courses. Soup delicious, fleatherblade of beef excellent. The pavlova for dessert was perfectly made. Can't wait to go back

10/11/2024: We came across this little gem when heading back to Meath from Killarney and what a find it was. 3 of us had the soup to start, absolutely gorgeous funeral soup and homemade brown bread. 1 had the bacon and cabbage and said it was gorgeous. 2 lads had the chicken burger and borris burger and both gave top marks, and 2 of us had the Hereford beef and Jesus christ it was the nicest I've ever eaten. The gravy was to die for. I'm just raging we live so far away, definitely worth every penny!

We were lucky enough to meet Una on our visit.
07/09/2024: Best pub and Nenagh, with very friendly staff, James is a gentleman, generous space both inside and outside with all sorts of nook and crannies. Live music, sport channels on various televisions. Full selection of lagers beers and of course the best Guinness and Nenagh, Rows and rows of whiskey and other spirits. And any gin combination you can think of. Don't frequent pubs very often but when I do this is the go to place for me.

07/06/2024: Had an hour stop on way from Dublin to Cork circa 10.30am on Friday morning, queue outside door! take away food superb, and the added bonus of being able to purchase a homemade gluten free loaf. Their cakes are sublime and I purchased some to take home.They have a room upstairs where one can enjoy coffee & food from the downstairs counter. Also availalbe are bacon & sausages (no eggs). Really very good.

31/10/2024: this place is a must-go if you’re nearby, the food is absolutely gorgeous and staff couldn’t be nicer ! the food is perfectly portioned and is so tasty and well presented, with the most beautiful gravy i’ve ever tasted. desserts were great too, not too heavy and delicious. will be dining here again as it was a great experience with a lovely atmosphere and quick service. bathrooms were also spotless, as was the whole pub.
