06/04/2025: This was our first ever trip to Ireland, and what an unforgettable experience it has been - made even more special by our visit to The Thatched Pub & Restaurant. We were blown away by the warm hospitality, the incredible food (we had the roast lamb and turkey – absolutely delicious! Almost best had ever), and the cosy, authentic Irish atmosphere. The portions were generous 😃 just the way we like it 😋 and each bite tasted homemade, hearty, and full of flavour. But what truly touched our hearts was the people. From the moment we arrived in Ireland, we’ve been deeply impressed by the honesty, decency, and kindness of the Irish people 🇮🇪 and that spirit is alive and well at The Thatched. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like part of the local community. This place is not just a restaurant ⭐️ it’s a little slice of Irish soul. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food and even greater people. Go raibh maith agat! Sláinte!

10/04/2025: We enjoyed a delicious affordable lunch at Gantry before doing some shopping at the Supervalu (the restaurant is attached) Food was piping hot and I can't get over how much more flavorful the tuna salad is in Ireland compared to the states - the Gantly's was utterly delicious. Fries, salad and coleslaw with each sandwich and free OJ at the table. Busy lunch rush, but we were seated, fed and paid up in 30 minutes (not counting the 10 it took to make up our minds on what to order!)

08/04/2025: Got seated pretty quickly, despite having no reservation on a Friday night. The chicken parmigiana was really good, and the goats cheese bruschetta was one of the best I've had.

16/05/2025: Lovely quaint quirky place Thought it a bit irreverent at first but when I saw the Sacred Heart picture with the red light on I changed my view. Fabulous food for the Vegetarian and those on a meat free day. Disabled facilities good. Staff so helpful and friendly. Only downside was the limited range of desserts!!!!!
