06/07/2026: I took my wife out for a meal last night as it was our wedding anniversary the service was ok one man was very grumpy like he didn’t want to be there the other was very nice and seemed to know a lot of the customers but we sat down and order our food starter main and a dessert the starter and the main were lovely but the dessert was nice until I found a cable tie in the middle of the ice cream a very small skinny cable tie that could of choked a child I called the server down and showed him he grabbed it out of my hand and ran off so we went up to pay and no sign of anyone at the till the server came back down with another ice cream and insisted we eat it so we kind of did but when I went up to pay I was charged for everything including the ice cream no apology no nothing
22/05/2026: Nice and cosy atmosphere with modern decor dim lighting delicious food especially chicken biryani, Lamb shank and chicken karhai. Hospitality was great too.

21/06/2026: Excellent food, great portions, extremely reasonable prices. Also, the folks inside were so nice. Would definitely come back if the commute weren’t thousands of miles! (And may anyway)
20/06/2026: Very disappointed with our takeaway and, unfortunately, this isn’t the first time.
We were told the order would be ready in 25 minutes, collected it after 20 minutes and were home within another 5 minutes, so there was no reason for the food to be cold.
The aloo pakora, vegetable samosas, chicken chaat and garlic naan were stone cold – not even slightly warm. On a previous order, the butter chicken was also served cold, but I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was a one-off.
Sadly, it has happened again. A takeaway is a treat, and after paying good money you shouldn’t have to reheat freshly prepared food in the microwave before you can eat it.
The food itself has good flavour, which makes it even more disappointing, but consistency and serving food at the correct temperature are basic expectations. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback on board because two cold takeaways in a row are simply not acceptable.

19/08/2026: The songs playing here are very Indian, which my friend really liked. The fish was delicious, and the waitress is the owner's daughter; you can ask her anything you don't understand about the food.

21/06/2026: We had possibly one of the best indian meals ever in the star of indian and to add to the food the staff are funny friendly and professional if your in thurles you gotta try it 100%
