The best restaurants in Tipperary

31/10/2024: Just dropped in as we passed thru Cahir. From our brief travels in Ireland, this was one of the few cafes we've visited that was similar to what one sees in Italy and that we're used to in Australia. Excellent

22/10/2024: Had a lovely time chatting to friends,even fellow customers ! The food was delicious, served in good time and by very pleasant and helpful staff. It was comfortable and a nice place to meet up,not rushed or made to feel our time was up.

20/10/2024: I have stopped here a few times now, and I am always impressed with the food and coffee, also the service is great, welcoming and friendly people. I highly recommend eating here for either a snack or a meal, delicious food.

21/10/2024: Top pub ,great welcome, good pint of Guinness, had the Crack with a few locals.,Richy, Paddy,and Jeremiah.Only down side there are a fee Chelsea fans ,but we sorted them out 2-1. Will definitely be coming back ,Thank you .

27/10/2024: Just had a really lovely Sunday lunch at Befani Restaurant. Staff are top class and food was brilliant as usual. Can highly recommend this restaurant.

12/10/2024: Went for a meal here on 10/10/24. We chose the Tapas selection to share. All were superb, cooked to perfection, and well presented .The waiting staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Very good value for such a lovely meal. We highly recommend this restaurant and are looking forward to our next visit.

08/10/2024: We stopped in for a pint ( or two) before dinner and loved the pub atmosphere and the friendly service. The guest house we were staying in had recommended this pub and were spot on.

09/10/2024: Had a meal with you on 16l09/2024 and it was disgusting. On waiting for our meal could see the chef, no uniform putting cooked chips into containers with no gloves then rubbing his forehead. Waiting staff werent engaging with the customers or just couldnt be bothered. They got some of the orders wrong as well. Matts is expensive so it would be better. I emailed you privately as I don't like to give a negative review. Never got an adequate response. Won't be back in a hurry

04/09/2024: Lovely stay at historic hotel. Beautiful and tastefully refurbished room at front, facing the square. Good pub food and great breakfast. Staff very helpful. Book online (do include breakfast) for best accommodation and breakfast rate. PS no affiliation with hotel.

10/11/2024: Had a fabulous lunch here with my boyfriend and dog! The staff are excellent, welcoming and friendly. We both loved our lunches. And as a vegetarian, it is so nice to be able to sit down, look at a menu to see that everything is available to you. My boyfriend isn't actually vegetarian and had been there during the week with work. He enjoyed it so much he suggested we go together. Definitely worth a visit!

01/11/2024: It's our go-to place for breakfast in Nenagh. The Steeples supreme is delicious, and their raspberry scones are just perfect. The members of staff are always very warm and welcoming and the whole experience is brilliant.

11/11/2024: This is a Really good Pub. There's a lovely atmosphere and a Great selection of drinks and food. It's very clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. Very easy to park near by. Well worth a visit. 🙂

08/10/2024: Fantastic and unexpected surprise. We stopped here by chance, tired of driving. We went by chance and luck led us to taste real cuisine, in an environment far from the strong tourist influences and for this reason the happiness in feeling the flavour, the warmth of the environment and the sweetness of the 2 girls who served us ...Fantastic

27/10/2024: Went here for Sunday dinner the location, the food, the real homely atmosphere everyone was so nice. Definitely a place to go for a lovely meal, good value too.

13/10/2024: Ein originelles Lokal, allerdings haben wir offenbar einen Tag erwischt an dem eigentlich zu sein sollte. An Dienstagen scheint überhaupt in Clonmel nicht viel los zu sein, weil wir ziemlich lange suchen mussten um überhaupt einen Taxifahrer zu finden der an diesem Tag arbeiten wollte. Als dies endlich gelungen war kamen wir in ein fast leeres Lokal, das zwar sehr gemütlich war, aber auch an diesem Tag war nur eine Dame fürs Service da. Sie war zwar sehr freundlich, aber die Speisenauswahl war dürftig, die gebackenen Champignons und die gebackenen Shrimps waren ausreichend als Portionen aber auch die Lammkottelets ließen den erwarteten Gaumenschmaus vermissen. Die Weinauswahl war dürftig und nur durch "Stifterln" a 0,25 l zu befriedigen. Kann sein, dass wir nicht den besten Tag erwischt haben, aber man sollte sich vor Bestellung eines Tisches über Transportmöglichkeiten vergewissern.

03/11/2024: Party of 8 evening meal Had wide range of main courses followed by very generous portions of desserts...all plates cleaned. Everyone happy with food quality and amazed at wide range of choice on Menu. Friendly fast service with a smile. Moderate prices and full bar facilities in very pleasant surroundings. Relaxed atmosphere although quite busy. Recommended.
