I also really loved the vibe and layout of the place. It was cosy, while still being really spacious which created such a lovely atmosphere.
I would 100% recommend The Granary Bar to anyone looking for great food, amazing service and a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back again soon!
01/10/2026: We had a lovely soup with amazing brown bread. Coffee came with jome made biscuit that was buttery but light as a Feather, totally lush!!! Service was quick and very friendly. Lovely atmosphere between age, originality and modern clean. Try it!! Prices were good too.

03/10/2026: We have eaten here on numerous occasions & we had our Daughters christening here last month. It was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Melissa made sure we had everything we needed she went above & beyond to look after us. The food was gorgeous, such generous portions, tasty & piping hot. The staff were so attentive on the day.

25/09/2026: Recommended by our hosts at Shannon Breeze we had evening meal. My wife had Penne she said it was very peppery and could not eat it. I ordered Chicken curry with naan bread and boiled rice, what I received was a vegetable curry with a few cubes (6) of chicken a half of pitta bread and boiled rice. Chicken curry ? Onions ,chopped Tomatoes, Potatoes diced, Marrow I think, Three quarters of the meal was veg.All I got from waitress was Sorry. But not her fault. Awful.

01/10/2026: We were drawn in by the atmosphere as we were passing by and decided we were hungry. We ordered a round of Guinness and lunch, which was exactly what we needed! The beef stew was excellent and service was very friendly.
27/09/2026: Stew was nice portions small for €20. Would have said a starter, I'm still hungry!
Seafood chowder was watery, had to send back. Ean out of the pudding we wanted. Wouldn't return. Only really positive was the musician and the fireplace decorations

26/09/2026: Alot of places could learn from this place instead of trying to be different. As a bus driver who travels the country, this was one of the most tastiest, freshest, simple meals I had. So much food. So reasonably priced. Lovely lady behind counter. Id say she was the owner.

14/08/2026: We had dinner in Bodega tonight and it was absolutely gorgeous! We were originally going to go for the unlimited tapas, but decided to get 3 tapas each instead and honestly, it was more than plenty — we were stuffed! 😂
The food was amazing, everything we tried was full of flavour and the atmosphere was calm and chill with a great buzz about the place. The staff were lovely and the whole evening was really enjoyable.
Definitely somewhere we’ll be going back to. Highly recommend!
