The Green Bar in Borrisokane

Had Sunday lunch here again today, we live a good 50 minute drive from here but worth travelling for to.....no 1 the staff and all the staff might i add are super friendly and helpful, beautiful pub/restaurant with loads of character, tables not on top of one another, plenty of room, great parking and the food is absolutely fantastic......a great choice of menu, served very well and is just mouthwatering delicious tasty food, from starter to dessert.....good portions and excellent value for the quality and service you get. Can't praise this place enough, a absolute gem in Borrisokane and well worth a visit. Once you go once u will be heading back. Keep up the good work 👏

Very very enjoyable restaurant, very tasty food.

We went here after a car run for a BBQ. The bar is lovely inside it's very quaint looking. The staff are very friendly and service is great. The BBQ was burgers hot dogs and chicken skewers with coleslaw potato salad and pasta salad. The food was delicious.

I have to say the girls at the coffee counter in the morning are so so nice and when I say they make the best coffee to start the morning is an understatement, great staff 🙌

Brilliant place to go for a meal , very courteous, you are very well, looked after by the staff, very welcoming to grate service food beautiful & delicious & fresh we would recommend there to everyone really nice a very good experience was had by all. Thank you so much

One of the best burgers I've ever had for a very reasonable price. Feels like it's made with proper well thought out ingredients. Staff were very nice and highly organised too. I'll be back.

We celebrated a birthday with family at the Green 1918 this weekend. It was absolutely fabulous. Everything was seamless, so easy to organise for our group of 20 adults and 2 kids. Melissa was so helpful, accommodating menu options, setting up decorations and had games and colouring for the little ones to hand. Service was great, the food was delicious and such amazing value too. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous place! Great coffee and pastries. Everyone is so friendly . A great spot to have a cosy bite to eat. Portions are generous and so tasty! Highly recommend

My wife and I went there last week and had a really great time. I had the burger and it was honestly so, so good, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I’d definitely order it again. The place itself is lovely, very relaxed and welcoming, and the service was spot on. My wife is vegetarian and she was happy with the options available. It would be really nice to see something like a vegetarian pizza or even a veggie burger on the menu in the future, just to have a bit more choice. We’ll definitely be back.
