The Green Bar in Borrisokane

Food was great but a bit pricey. The waiter Isaac was so prompt to look after us, so welcoming, friendly and nothing was a problem for him to do for us and our children. He made our experience there so good we will definitely be returning

We have eaten here on numerous occasions & we had our Daughters christening here last month. It was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Melissa made sure we had everything we needed she went above & beyond to look after us. The food was gorgeous, such generous portions, tasty & piping hot. The staff were so attentive on the day.

We celebrated our sons christening lunch at The Green and it was just fabulous. Such a flawless experience, from start to finish - thank you, Melissa, for making my vision come to life! The main courses appeared after only 18 min and was cooked to perfection - hats off to the kitchen team ! The christening cake was made glutenfree by the in house baker Nicole - it was absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. The restaurant manager Heather had the team well organised on our day, the entire service was smooth and easy. The room was set up beautifully, one long table for 28 guests, we also had a separate cake table and a separate present table. They also created a custom-made lunch menu for us. Thanks so much for creating such a memorable experience for us, our son Rían and all our guests!

Stopped off for tea and dessert. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely return for Sunday lunch or dinner. Restaurant had a lovely atmosphere

We had Green 1918 cater for our crew for the week and Mel and Robert couldn’t have been more accommodating to our needs. We ordered from their takeaway catering menu and preordered directly with the team. I can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic dining experience all around

Typical Irish place with pub and restaurant. We had dinner. Soupe of the day way delicious, crispy cauliflowers were good but heavy (fried), carbonara pastas were declined (very generous portion) and crispy chicken burgers were real piece of chicken that we loved! They also have nonalcoholic Gin tonic :)
