The Junction
Carrick-on-suir
17/09/2026: Went there yesterday for a pint and a meal. Great service, great food. My wife rated the seafood chowder as the best she has had in Ireland. That's a big call since we have had some rippers. My friend and I had the Junction burger which was great. 10 out of 10.
05/07/2026: Food was perfect, catered for our baby. Great menu. Steak and fish were well flavored.
Staff are always attentive.
Well worth it.
Dont understand some of other reviews.
"Very noisy and not very romantic).
If you want quietness and romance got to the cinema or stay at home under a dim light with a candle on the coffee table wrapped up on the couch with a duvet and a bag of Hunky Dorys watching 50 shades of grey
Its not a matchmakers restaurant.
Well done to MJ and his staff, perfect every time.πππππ

05/08/2026: We arrived bank holiday Monday. The takeaway was hectic. We were told we would have to wait a while to be served. We were in no hurry, although the wait was not that long. Spring rolls to die for. Nicola was very tentative and brilliant at her job

Far East
Carrick-on-suir
25/08/2026: Ordered 4 seperate dishes for a family takeaway, all 4 dishes had completely zero flavour and somehow tasted off at the same time, shortly after eating we all experienced stomach pains, had the customer service been more pleasant I would've called and complained, anyone thinking of stopping here for a nice meal, please avoid it.

Bombay Kebab House
Carrick-on-suir
10/10/2026: Been ordering for years, delivery well outside of town, food was roasting hot and tasted great, pizza was really good, chips were really nice, the driver was incredibly nice, 10/10 experience, huge improvement recently
03/10/2026: Horrible ordered a mixed grill got 5 pieces of fired out chicken no lamb, dog wouldn't even eat it. The Papadums weren't too bad probably cooked last night, sure there still a bit of crunch in some parts. Nasty food surprised if I don't end up with food poisoning after that mixed grill

Roberto's
Carrick-on-suir
04/10/2026: Their curry chips are absolutely horrid. Tastes like pepper sauce or something. Very odd. Really disappointed I ordered that, cos most of what's on offer there is fine. Just don't get their curry.
03/10/2026: Love this place so nice I go here nearly twice a week in the summer nearly everyday with my friends and the workers are probably sick of seeing us we are there so much but itβs really a great place to just to dag in

SuperValu Carrick-on-Suir - Guinan's
Carrick-on-suir
11/08/2025: Layout of store bit chaotic and some staff not helpful bit overall good quality food
10/08/2025: People always parking in mother and children spots and they wouldn't have kids with them, even with the parking warden around. Click and collect service in general is ok but not as good as other supermarkets ,e.g. substitutes selected are hit and miss (for example I ordered and air freshener and was given a candle which was 3 times the price !),products very near or on use by date. Other supermarkets do a price match guarantee when selecting substitutes.

Texaco Spar Carrick-On-Suir (Apache Pizza)
Carrick-on-suir
09/06/2026: Vile bathrooms and rude workers, I was rudely told to get out as Iβm not buying anything when I clearly had a drink and crisps in my hand. Also would like to add the state of my chicken fillet roll, if you can even call it one, bare bit of sauce, one chicken strip shredded up, and a pile of cheese over it, I asked for a CHICKEN fillet roll not a pile of cheese
31/05/2026: Horrible deli, about one strip of chicken ripped to shreds in my whole roll, no sauce when I asked for it, horrible service in general

Sunnyside Cafe
Carrick-on-suir
24/06/2026: Food was lovely I had a sandwich with chips and salad and can of coke. That was β¬11
My mother had the dearest Scone she ever spent in her life β¬5.50 and a small pot of tea for β¬5.50.
I often wondered why the place is always empty when we go in there cause they are codding people with the prices.
18/06/2026: Horrible coffee from a machine and charged hotel prices. Food is worse again with prices to boot.
