24/05/2025: Based on the reviews we read, we decided to have lunch at Lava Rock Restaurant. Even before ordering, we found out that this outlet does NOT serve alcohol. A pity given the menu they feature. Anyway my wife ordered the Rigatoni Pasta and I took the Chicken Curry. Both dishes were simply excellent! We shared a raspberry cheese cake for dessert. Service was courteous and helpful! Krimo Birem our server even offered us to get us beer from the nearby pub!! Highly recommended!
07/05/2025: We were at the coffee place and ordered a dessert to die for.
Definitely will come back.

16/06/2025: Everything was top, staff friendly and helpful, room was clean, pool facilities were good and clean, breakfast buffet was standard but done the job. The only big issue was the heat in the room, window was wide open, we had the Dyson fan on from start of stay until we left the room and the room was still too hot. Toilet seat was unsecure.
16/06/2025: I won our stay in a competition from Beat and we absolutely loved our stay!! The room was fantastic, the facilities were amazing and the food was gorgeous I just wish there was more it was soooo tasty. Would highly recommend a stay here.

12/03/2025: Just enjoyed, I think, the best chips I've ever had in my life, with a delicious lasagne with side of vegetables; thick cut, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle, and just the right amount of salt. I think I'm in love 🥰. Great Guiness and Sauvignon Blanc, great service. Very authentic Irish pub!

03/07/2025: We had day 2 of our wedding here in The Granary. We opted for the BBQ option and the food was second to none! Everyone was talking about it after. The cocktails and the service were exceptional, we couldn’t have asked for anything else! It was the perfect day/evening! Thanks to all the team that made it so special.!

05/07/2025: A chaos of customers and waiters in a room that resembles a tired canteen in an old school building where waiters fly around with bad food, heated up ready-made food. Where beans, sausages and fried eggs are on top of each other and look like the food is served fully digested. Was also going to order coffee and soft ice cream, but no waiters were to be seen in the checkout area, little smile and friendliness to be found, the waiters appeared stressed and overworked. Overpriced as well… steer clear!
02/07/2025: Stopped for breakfast here on way back to Dublin. Was very pleasantly surprised. Food was great (Full Irish Breakfast) and the staff were very quick and attentive.

Spearman’s is a gem of a family-run bakery with outstanding service and great value. Hannah is always so warm and welcoming — she really adds to the experience. The fruit scone is a must-try, and we always go for the toasted sandwiches and soup. The soup is consistently delicious and perfectly seasoned. Fast, friendly service every time. Highly recommend!

26/04/2025: Organised a hen party here recently and I highly recommend! Ronan was so hospitable and hands on from the moment I texted enquiring about hosting it there. We did the cocktail class and it was a hit throughout! Fabulous cocktails that everyone enjoyed. Ronan is an incredible mixologist!! Thanks so much for making the organising a total breeze!! And thank you to all the kind, pleasant staff who made the night a total success, we will be back!
