The best restaurants in Tipperary

14/08/2026: 2023 Stopped for food and had a fantastic meal. The people beside us were drinking Guinness and they looked great pints but unfortunately I had the car so couldn't sample one for myself. 2024 Stopped for food on a trip to Kerry. Such a disappointment after last year's great experience. Chicken goujons were as hard as a rock and the prices have jumped up hugely. I said it to a member of staff who apologised and said it was a new chef/cook in the kitchen. No offer of a discount or anything. Such a pity we have stopped there numerous times over the years but won't be back. So sorry to hear that,I will call again in the future

11/08/2026: This was my second visit to Mikey Ryan's and another lovely experience. Excellent service, good range of options on the lunch menu. They were kind to make space for our babies and prams etc. I'm looking forward to coming back again for the next catch-up with old friends.

23/05/2026: 5 stars for Mr. Bumbles in Clonmel! We stopped in for lunch and were blown away by the experience. Not only was the service and staff excellent, but the price was a total bargain for a full meal, starters, and soft drinks. Such a lovely spot we left very happy and will definitely be back if ever visit the area or surrounding! Thanks for receiving us :)

17/08/2026: I ordered a birthday cake online for a 9th birthday. It had a limerick gaa Crest on it and my son loved the design and also taught the cake was delicious and wants to have a slice each day after his lunch

05/07/2026: Food was perfect, catered for our baby. Great menu. Steak and fish were well flavored. Staff are always attentive. Well worth it. Dont understand some of other reviews. "Very noisy and not very romantic). If you want quietness and romance got to the cinema or stay at home under a dim light with a candle on the coffee table wrapped up on the couch with a duvet and a bag of Hunky Dorys watching 50 shades of grey Its not a matchmakers restaurant. Well done to MJ and his staff, perfect every time.👌👌👌👌👌

10/06/2026: Fantastic pub! Food was delicious and service was fab. Very nice atmosphere. Some of group had cocktails and said they were great and everyone loved their food. Very friendly staff.

Greens are in fantastic shape 4/5 Fairways were some of the best before the heat wave mid summer 2026 4/5 Tee boxes 4/5 Bunkers were kept well 4/5 Lads in the pro shop were very nice and accommodating. Club house serves food! Putting and chipping green was reflective of the course conditions. Did not use the range but there was one there.

31/07/2026: Tipperary Golf Club ⛳ An 18-hole parkland course in a tranquil setting surrounded by nature, suitable for both beginner and experienced golfers.

03/07/2026: Great atmosphere there with the live music & the world cup. And a mighty creamy pint is always welcome.

31/05/2026: Pubs worth visiting! Staff are efficient and friendly and prices are reasonable. We happened to visit during a trad session during the music festival. There was a fab buzz about!

12/05/2026: Wonderful family owned business. We had dinner there twice. Their dough is so fresh and light. The chicken pasta dish was so scrumptious. There is a lot of love going into making those dishes thank you so much for a wonderful experience twice. She remembered that we were going to a brewery that matched our name and asked how was it!!
