Great place in Cahir. I haven't stayed overnight here so can't comment on the rooms, but I often go here for food, or a coffee. They will serve tea and coffee late in the evening, which is great for someone who doesn't drink alcohol! They also have a big outdoor area with heaters, and lots of space to park behind the hotel. Highly recommend.

I loved this Hotel right in the center of Cahir town. It has a lovely Period Home feel. Warm, welcoming and comfortable. Very comfy bed and great Breakfast. The staff were friendly and professional too. Very close to the Amazing Cahir Castle and the River Suir. The Swiss Cottage is a lovely leafy riverside walk not too far down river. So I would love to go back.

My first time in this place it is very comfortable and warm. Drinks are great food taste good fish bit small in portion size. I already had food in the pub called shamrock lounge so i wasn't able for big meal today. Will get dessert next time I'm back. I can't make any comments about the rooms because i never stayed here so might be a option down the line with friends. Didn't get a proper look around the town because of my friend Richard gets lazy after drink. I have been to cahir and Cashel before looking around but its been like 10 years since i was here. Staff are ok most of them look like trainees like college students. Their was a elderly staff who took our orders. Some staff might need a little bit more training but overall nice place.
