01/07/2026: Formerly the town residence of the Butler family, the beautifully appointed Cahir House Hotel gives the visitor an inkling of living like the aristocracy. Between the house, the rooms, the function rooms, bar and gardens, there is plenty of space to host your function or to enjoy your short stay. Plenty of social life surrounding the hotel right in the middle of town. Adequate parking and an outdoor BBQ in the garden. As it is located next door to Cahir Castle, the River Suir and 2km walk to the Swiss Cottage (the Butler family's summer house), there's plenty for the visitor to explore and enjoy.
27/06/2026: Such a cute hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms clean. Only complaint, the folder told us "drinking the tap water isn't recommended," but we didn't get complimentary water. It wasn't a big deal, we just walked to the grocery store. And of course, no AC, but we were provided with a fan and left the windows open. As an American, we forget how we value our AC. But all together, we enjoyed our stay, we are happy and had another great lodging while in Ireland. And the hotel is a short walk from Cahir Castle.

Wow, just wow! The food here is magnificent, easily the best we’ve ever eaten. The flavors are out of this world. The service was also amazing – super polite and attentive. A 10/10 experience!

The Lazy Bean Café @The Heritage

04/07/2026: Went there for breakfast and the shop was so inviting and the owners very friendly. The food was excellent quality and value. The coffee was delicious. The shop sold takeaway food from an extensive menu and also a large selection of everyday essentials too. They also sold ice cream.
There is no seating inside but plenty of picnic benches and tables and chairs directly outside on the pavement. I hope to go back.
29/06/2026: We stopped after passing through for brunch. There was lots to choose from all four of us really enjoyed what we ate our daughter said its the best hot chocolate she's ever had!!

28/07/2026: my girls and i 🍷, had a very disappointing experience with genoa, for starters we had a rude employee talk to us over the phone and when we asked can we pay half and half they said yes, when the delivery driver arrived he demanded we pay all cash when they said ok the phone we could pay half and half, the delivery driver was a genuinely kind patient man and was waiting for us to pay, all in all me and my girls had a dissapointing experience with this company and we will think twice from ordering here again.

04/08/2026: I loved that they had different vegan options, which you could see immediately, which made it really easy for me as a vegan, I loved that sooo much, they overall had a prettbig menu, something for everyone, as soon as the food was ordered, we got it pretty quickly, which was also great 💕💕💕

28/07/2026: It is in fact very good great staff, food is fine and cooked well used it many times, Clean and not a typical tourist rip off. The cost is low considering most tourist towns. In fact I used it yesterday with a friend and they were happy. Worth a try.

Stop by this Morrissey Pub and rub the female goddess plaque...which guarantees you get get pregnant (forget fertility treatments trust the Irish)...or I'm not sure maybe....good sex the rest of your life, or to meet the love of your life, 100% you will definitely have amazing conversation with real down to earthpeople from Ireland... I walked in to get out of the rain and left warmed in my soul!!!! Just make sure you ask for the good chocolate biscuits and tell them Alicia sent you and that I say hi 🥰🥰🥰

06/02/2026: I’m disappointed. Used to be a great takeaway and still is at times but of late it’s became hit and miss with more misses than hits. Today we ordered Indian dishes, it took 1.5 hrs to be delivered, Byriani came with no sauce, a naan bread was missing and they gave us only half of a poppadom with a tiny bit of mango chutney which looked used. Wouldn’t normally mind the odd error but it’s more often and the food doesn’t seem to be as good as it used to be. Such a shame. Hope it improves.

Even when I went to Italy I didn't find a Pizza as good as the one they do here.
The Marbella and Quatro Formaggi are my favourite, but all the other ones are also fantastic. And the chips are also good.
Also the price for a large pizza is great, considering the fresh and good quality ingredients 🍕🍕🍕🥓🍗🥫🦑🧀🦐
