We visited the restaurant as part of a day trip around Tipperary, specifically prior to our visit of the Cahir Castle. The food was set with the rest of our tour group, which we had a main course (beef stew) and dessert (might have been panna cotta?) - was tasty!

It doesn't get a 5 because there are several imperfections in the furniture and it could use a little more attention to cleanliness, but the food is excellent—top-notch steaks with great presentation and delicious flavor. Very friendly staff.

Popped in while out for a drive and we were delighted we did. Food was just unbelievable, so fresh and generous portions. Staff very friendly and pints were perfect.

23/08/2026: Had a fantastic, yet unexpected Sunday dinner in the shamrock lounge. The staff were excellent and even treated our friend who’s a huge 2 Johnnies fan to a signed photo.
23/08/2026: Terrific food for the whole family. Sunday lunch was delicious. Great service and a classic atmosphere.
