03/04/2025: Chips and garlic bread are all amazing! Definitely get the curry sauce with your chips. We weren’t huge fans of the fish but only because lack of seasoning.

14/07/2024: Great pub. Guys behind the bar are great bunch. Always look after the locals. Front bar open Monday to Thursday and the full bar open over the weekend. Great place to watch any sport match(soccer, hurling, football) with plenty of tellys everywhere. Fantastic beer garden

19/12/2024: We had the day 2 of our wedding in The Castle and the lads couldn't do enough for us, Mark, Darren, Fergal and Rachel thank you so much for everything! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely as always, everyone had a great night and our family from County Down are dying to come back the next time they are down!

24/04/2025: We had four “super cod” (i.e. not frozen) and chips to take out. Very nice cod fish, and the chips were hand cut and great too. Friendly staff. Eat in possible - typical chipper setting. We spent around 10€ per person.
13/04/2025: A very dirty room. Employees do not care about cleanliness and hygiene. The food is good, but I will not go back there. I believe that where you eat meals, cleanliness should come first.

19/05/2025: Service and Food was excellent, much better than we expected. The sweet cart went down so well with the kids and adults, the talking point. Also, the tv’s with cartoons were great idea we for the younger kids. The room itself was beautiful and we had plenty of space. The kids loved their names on the board too. We will be recommending this hotel to everyone, well done to all involved with the communions.
