25/11/2025: We went in to celebrate My Nieces 15th Birthday, they were so accommodating and nice, we had brought a cake and they said they would bring it out at the end of the meal no issue.
We apologise for the tornado that is my 11 month old daughter, she made quite a mess but they were lovely about it.
Food was delicious 😋

04/01/2026: Gorgeous Sunday dinner! Very pretty building. Authentically Irish! Friendly and attentive staff. The fire was on too- so welcoming!
15/12/2025: I had the mixed grill at €19.95, excellent really was very very good! Steak, lamb, liver, bacon and hash brown! Plus...a side of chips!
Very popular with locals and farmers.
Carvery was very popular the last time I came here!
Personally not a fan of any carvery, over boiled veg(and roast) not my thing!
Delighted the mixed grill was an option thankfully.

26/04/2025: Organised a hen party here recently and I highly recommend! Ronan was so hospitable and hands on from the moment I texted enquiring about hosting it there. We did the cocktail class and it was a hit throughout! Fabulous cocktails that everyone enjoyed. Ronan is an incredible mixologist!! Thanks so much for making the organising a total breeze!! And thank you to all the kind, pleasant staff who made the night a total success, we will be back!

18/08/2025: Very pleasant welcome in this family-run pastry shop and tea room. Excellent breakfast, the scones are delicious (plain, raisin, or rhubarb). The coffee tasted not great, but everything else was good.

26/12/2025: Haven't stayed as a guest, so only commenting on the pool and the restaurant. The pool and gym are pretty adequate for a small hotel, and a fantastic service for locals in the area. Staff there are really friendly. The pool isn't always clean unfortunately, but generally it's ok. The restaurant is awful, just avoid it unless you have no other choice. The food is rubbish and the staff are quite inattentive.

Ordered roast lamb shank, which was lovely—- but was somewhat spoiled by lack of vegetables, except for one carrot.
I thought this a bit mean !
No reaction to my “ mean with vegs” review of 20/122025. !!!!!!!
07/01/2026: Freezing, no heating, luckily we got seats near the open in fire for dessert. Middle of winter and the place was like a fridge.
