24/04/2025: We had four “super cod” (i.e. not frozen) and chips to take out. Very nice cod fish, and the chips were hand cut and great too. Friendly staff. Eat in possible - typical chipper setting. We spent around 10€ per person.

04/06/2025: Had the day 2 of our wedding in Foley's bar and it was exceptional. We had a BBQ out the back with a diverse selection of salads for roughly 100 people out the back of the bar. The staff were fantastic and very attentive, the food was incredible and the overall atmosphere was second to none. If you are looking for a venue for an event I would look no further than Foley's bar in Cashel as you will not regret it!

01/06/2025: Where to begin? Superb hotel with impeccable service. Very welcoming. Beautiful room/suite overlooking Sule Shannon and Killaloe Bridge. But a little noisy with the pub's smoking area. Otherwise, nice breakfast and dinner on site. You have the choice between the pub or a restaurant. I recommend this beautiful hotel.

01/06/2025: I’ve never written a review like this before, but our experience at Lakeside Hotel Killaloe was truly appalling. We walked into the restaurant looking forward to a pleasant meal by the lake, but from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely unwelcome. My husband stood at the reception waiting to be seated. The host clearly saw us, made eye contact, and yet chose to completely ignore us – no greeting, no smile, not even the courtesy of saying, “I’ll be with you in a moment.” As we stood there awkwardly, another server walked past. My husband politely asked if we could have a table for three. The server didn’t even stop, didn’t acknowledge us, and didn’t say a single word. No smile. No eye contact. Just silence. It was as if we were invisible. We weren’t being difficult, loud, or demanding – just a family hoping for a meal and a bit of hospitality. What we got instead was cold, dismissive treatment that made us feel like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. We eventually walked out. If basic courtesy is too much to expect from the staff, then clearly this hotel doesn’t care about customer experience. A beautiful location means nothing when the people representing it are this indifferent and rude. Deeply disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with even a shred of respect

27/03/2025: It is a takeaway coffee shop. And they know their business. Coffee is fantastic. And their hot chocolate is delicious a real treat and a high point after any cold outdoor event to warm you up.. staff are very friendly.

17/06/2025: The food is so good here, the choice of ingredients is innovative and creative, I had a delicious wrap today, it had perfectly balanced fillings, as did the sourbread tostie.I do think though a salad garnish instead of crisps would have elevated the presentation. Nice friendly staff and reasonably priced. Highly recommend
