20/04/2026: The supermarket is so much bigger than you think it is everything you could possibly need. Coffee, flowers, lotto cards, wrapping paper, bakery alcohol fruit and vegetables great selection of cheese and meat and of course all the other needs that you require The place is very clean and the staff are very pleasant and friendly .

24/05/2026: It's true, the best Guinness I have had in Ireland.

12/04/2026: Una’s is a wonderful Classic Irish ‘local’. Always a great welcome and full of character and charm. 10/10 for the Guinness and chat which is why I visit whenever I am visiting friends in the parish.

27/08/2026: Brilliant comedy show run by Pheasant Island Comedy Club. Great service here. The pub is looking great as well. Lots of stages for gigs.

15/08/2026: Went to the Féile Beag that occcurs annually in Hickeys - this time to see a new act - Soul Junctions - it’s without doubt the best music venue in the country in summer time - weather , atmosphere, people, overlook vibe and the music are unreal. It’s around €40 for a 3 day and night music festival with the level of talent you would expect in the Albert hall. Don’t miss out in 2027. Our friends stayed in Hayes hotel literally next door - best breakfast ever

30/08/2026: Kyoto has been my favourite restaurant for quite some time. I’m vegetarian and they have a large variety of options to try, the staff are really lovely and give great customer service. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely with calm music and the Japanese style seating and paintings. I often eat here alone and find myself at peace in the peaceful atmosphere.

25/08/2026: The sushi was very good but when i got the fried rice a bit of it was burnt on the bottom but everything else was amazing would come back again

28/07/2026: We come in often and love it so much. The staff are always so lovely. I’ve never had a nicer Oreo milkshake than I have here.

21/06/2026: I didn’t expect the food here to be as good as it was as it was just going to be a quick pitstop for us. I had the crepe with marshmallows (magic mallows) and the crepe was so fluffy which went well with the melted marshmallows. My dad had the chicken tikka wrap as a savoury dish and it the chicken was very tender and flavourful. I also enjoyed the soup that came with it. The service did take awhile as we had to queue for quite a bit before getting our orders as they make the crepe right after ordering meaning we had to wait until the person in front of us got their order. I also initially ordered the biscoff ice cream but was accidentally given the roast banana flavour. I personally didn’t mind though as it did taste really nice.

31/05/2026: another visit to Murphys, what can we say, but the food was excellent without fail, very reasonably priced for top quality food. The staff are also so helpful and friendly, shout out to Nick who is always so polite and on. the ball with table service. do not pass this little gem by folks. 10/10.

04/07/2026: Went there for breakfast and the shop was so inviting and the owners very friendly. The food was excellent quality and value. The coffee was delicious. The shop sold takeaway food from an extensive menu and also a large selection of everyday essentials too. They also sold ice cream. There is no seating inside but plenty of picnic benches and tables and chairs directly outside on the pavement. I hope to go back.

29/06/2026: We stopped after passing through for brunch. There was lots to choose from all four of us really enjoyed what we ate our daughter said its the best hot chocolate she's ever had!!

24/02/2026: Visited last week, on a wet cold day. What a lovely fire ! So welcoming. It was a special occasion and Stephanie went out of her way to make it extra special. Great service, great drinks and even better craic ! We'll definitely visit again. Thanks so much Stephanie.

23/02/2026: Myself and my wife had our wedding here in February 2026 and we could not have asked for a nicer venue. The staff were so helpful in planning our wedding with us, and looking after us on the day itself. Shania, Katie and Davie were amazing. The food was amazing quality; a lot of our guests commented it was the best wedding dinner they’d ever had. The decor on the day was beautiful too, and we love the old world manor aesthetic of the hotel. I can’t praise them highly enough. It’s a hidden gem in south Tipperary.

14/02/2026: Lovely, comfortable, clean, relaxed and easy going hotel- nice old worldly themed building and cosy rooms with all the mod cons. Wonderful delicious food to be had there also, and the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The hotel staff and really nice too. Don't miss the breakfast!!

12/06/2026: Lovely, dog-friendly cafe with really nice staff. The coffee was great, the chicken goujon wrap was incredible and the banana bread was also amazing. Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: A very pleasant place to stop on the way from Cork to Dublin. Although not immediately obvious when driving up and down the Main Street of Cashel, it is worth finding. The coffee is delicious and so are the scones. We would like to make two suggestions for improvement: (1) Listen carefully when taking an order - we ordered one jug of hot milk to go with one americano - we got three jugs of cold milk. (2) Improve the quality of the jam served with the scones. Otherwise, well done and thank you.

05/08/2026: Absolutely fabulous place, quaint and had a great atmosphere. Beautiful harbour view from the restaurant. Staff could not have done enough for us. Food was delicious. Will be back.

31/07/2026: Imagine this: you call and ask to reserve a table. They tell you: “no reservations, but you’ll find a table right away when you get here”. Then you do get there and a rude manager asks: “did you book a table?”. Then tells you in a rough tone that you have to wait, at the bar, 20 minutes for your table. And when you seem perplexed, he adds, even more rudely: “wherever else you want to go, it’s at least a 20 minutes drive, so just wait and chill out”. Such a disappointment, do not make the mistake of deciding to go there. And in a 15 minutes drive from that place, we found a very good and welcoming restaurant.
