25/06/2025: Never in my 52 years on this planet have I ever experienced a genuine traditional Irish pub with fabulous musician for a trad session on Tuesday night. From the owner to the whiskey drinking bar man and musicians. Love you all. Had the time of my life.

26/04/2025: Organised a hen party here recently and I highly recommend! Ronan was so hospitable and hands on from the moment I texted enquiring about hosting it there. We did the cocktail class and it was a hit throughout! Fabulous cocktails that everyone enjoyed. Ronan is an incredible mixologist!! Thanks so much for making the organising a total breeze!! And thank you to all the kind, pleasant staff who made the night a total success, we will be back!

01/09/2025: We only drank two small beers. It had just opened at 5 PM. It already had a large clientele, especially locals. The atmosphere was that of a true Irish pub, with soft lighting and a wealth of memorabilia, plaques, and banners. There's also a small outdoor area at the back, but with a covered area for smokers.

18/10/2025: I came here with my whole family, adults and children, and we had a wonderful meal.
We ordered fish and chips (cod) and a beef sandwich with mushrooms and onions, which was spectacularly good.
The service was very attentive and pleasant; it was like eating at home after a hike to Cahir Castle and the Swiss Cottage.
I highly recommend it.
14/10/2025: We had a fantastic meal here! My grandad said it was the best fish and chips he’s had in years — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The burger was absolutely delicious too. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the service was quick, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this pub for a great meal and warm atmosphere!

19/08/2025: If you’re in Tralee, this is the bar you can’t miss. Start here, as you can then make your way into town and discover the other bars on the way down. Perfect starting place. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the clientele are the best Tralee has to offer. Great for watching a match or supporting the Rose of Tralee. Don’t skip it.
23/07/2025: I stay in tralee a lot for work and love the castle bar. Great place for watching sports. Great staff with lovely friendly mix of local folks and not so local like myself
