The best restaurants in Tipperary

16/03/2026: Stayed here for two days and have stayed before. Comfortable hotel with a nice atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, dining was good, and the staff were friendly throughout. Free parking was a big plus. Overall a very pleasant stay and I’d be happy to return.

16/03/2026: Visited for a conference midweek. A nice hotel which appeared to be really busy on the day with plenty of locals and people attending for conferences and training. The food was really good and fairly priced. Plenty of staff on hand to keep things running smoothly. I didn't stay over so cannot comment on the rooms.

30/12/2025: Went on Christmas eve and couldn’t have been a better experience from start to finish from food to staff everything was just a 10/10 experience and their cocktails were just to die for would highly recommend to anyone !

14/12/2025: Food was lovely you definitely wont get too much. Deserts too expensive for the portion and quality. Plain table's , seems no interest in filling up the water jugs if your not ordering alcohol its like the feature tune " are you ok for drinks "

18/08/2025: The service was amazing! And the food was very very tasty! Lovely little cozy cafe, and also really enjoyed listening to the owners stories about the buildings history and the history of the street!

05/10/2025: We stopped by for coffee and pastries in the morning. Even though it was early, we were immediately greeted by a very nice woman behind the counter. She went through a few of our options and gave us some recommendations. I had a delicious blueberry, pear tart. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again.

17/07/2025: The coffee was gorgeous. They had great choices, high protein, alternative milks, iced drinks. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. The staff were lovely. Well priced. They have lovely looking pastries. However, they had one gluten free option, unwrapped, underneath and in the same case as the regular pastries. Very susceptible to cross contamination. Pity because it looked exceptionally good.

03/11/2025: A wonderful little cafe with a great selection of food both for lunch and breakfast, I really like the fact they had an all day breakfast menu cause usually breakfast is stopped being served at a certain time for certain cafes but this one didn't disappoint, the staff are lovely, the only downside is if it's busy it fills up fast as it isn't the biggest area inside but that can't also be helped. Overall a nice little cafe.

13/11/2025: The best coffee in Clonmel. 10/10 Not only is the coffee so delicious but the staff are absolutely amazing and super friendly. The atmosphere in the yard and the vibe this coffee spot brings to Clonmel is exceptional. Mouth watering treats to add with your coffee the only place to go for a coffee in Clonmel Thursday to Sunday.

25/11/2025: Stopped in as a halfway point on a 4 hour journey for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat. We were made feel welcome the minute we walked in. We didnt catch the barmaids name but she couldnt do enough for us. She noticed I was watching a game on my phone and put it straight on the tv for me,served up thr finest pint of guinness Ive had outside my local, told us where the bathrooms and smoking area were in case we needed them, and chatted in a friendly manner throughout. She's a credit to the place. A friendly "hello" from the local customers was also nice. Food was super tasty and came in hugely generous portions. Steak sandwich is beautiful! Pricing is fantastic value. Will return for sure

18/10/2025: Day 1 of our 2025 Irish getaway: we received a warm welcome. We ate very well, it was truly generous! €80, including four drinks. Perfect!!!

18/08/2025: Very pleasant welcome in this family-run pastry shop and tea room. Excellent breakfast, the scones are delicious (plain, raisin, or rhubarb). The coffee tasted not great, but everything else was good.

01/08/2025: Great for lunch. The service, the welcome, the food, and the prices are all top-notch.

16/10/2025: We stopped by for a morning coffee, and seeing how delicious the scones looked, we decided to try them, and they didn't disappoint. Very good, great coffee, very good service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
