04/05/2025: This tiny streetside restaurant is a real find. Taking a break from a long drive, the welcome is warm, the atmosphere friendly, the menu choices ample and your food choice is freshly prepared and served to the table. Prices are competitive too. Well worth a visit when you visit Cashel. You might even consider taking the time to visit the Rock of Cashel.
29/04/2025: We ate on 04/29/2025 for lunch with friends. Vegetarian dishes were not available, so we were offered vegetarian sandwiches with egg, cheese... in the end there were only a few raw vegetables and a lot (too much) mayonnaise. The fries are (poorly) cooked in the same oil as the fish and taste like it. At €10 for a club sandwich and a few fries, opt for a fast food restaurant. The coffee sold for espresso is actually very bad instant soluble coffee. We waited a very long time for ketchup, and we continue to wait for a bottle of water which never arrived. The toilets were dirty. We therefore do not recommend this establishment despite the positive reviews which attracted us there in the first place.

Service at that point didn’t really matter.
Would have to be pretty desperate to eat there again.
08/03/2025: This is a lovely and cosy restaurant, and a fantastic open fire 🔥, service is great and very attentive staff . Food is lovely . I would go just to sit next to the fire. Great desserts and vegetarian choices as well

15/04/2025: It is so good to be able to improve a review. This place has really upped their game. Gluten free and allergies are well catered, the service is fast but not suspiciously so and it's great to find the staff sprucing up the bathroom, it was spotless. Hand on heart, I go here often, once a week or more. Tasty, well presented, well priced and a sensible uncluttered menu. Chef makes regular appearances and is a reassuringly sight.
3years ago: Food is lovely but the service is poor. On two occasions I have been here and twice I have had to chase up menus. Comfortable and charming surroundings.

16/12/2024: Awful. I wanted better for them but nope. The staff were nice, but the soup I was served up was just Campbell's soup watered down.
If it was "pub grub," you could say something, but these are high end prices for shit on a slate, effectively. Incredible, really. I hope no one goes here for a meal, please bypass it.
