18/07/2026: Ordered Party Food from Miss Ellie's! It was fabulous- all the guests were raving about it! Food arrived fresh and hot.

16/07/2026: We recently got party food delivered from Amy at Miss Ellies for my sons Christening, food was outstanding. We are 15 minutes drive from town the food arrived dead on time and was piping hot. We got more food than we needed there wasnt a thing left, all our guests complimented how good the food was and the mini battered sausages were a massive hit. I wouldn't go anywhere else now for party food and ive often attended events where Miss Ellies supplied the food and its always been delicious.

24/11/2025: A very busy chipper. Not hard to understand why. The chips were fantastic and the deep fried chicken just melted in your mouth. Highly recommend it as a pit stop if you are passing

16/06/2026: Very bad service. They don't answer messages or phone calls and refused to refund or postpone my booking, even though it was impossible for me to come because of transport problems. It may be a good hotel, but their customer service and commercial attitude are very disappointing.

10/06/2026: A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Nenagh. Leisure facilities are a bit tired but our room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Restaurant was decent enough, although the self-service breakfast was not really 4 star. Staff were lovely. Nice enough for a stopover between the west coast and Dublin.

18/09/2026: With over 20 years on the Shannon boating, the ferry inn was never a marked stop off due to always going through the swing bridge in portumna, and heading somewhere else on the lake. But in 2025, that all changed. And it's now become a must stop off point One of the crew onboard was Hungarian, and wanted to watch Ireland and Hungary in the world cup playoffs. The Staff were very accommodating to our request and were very welcoming, food on both occasions in 2025 & 2026 was decent and the ambience is nothing like it on the Shannon or Erne. It's great value for money.

28/08/2026: A very lovely little bakery with a nice assortment of fresh baked goods and pastries. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the atmosphere inside is very homely. We really enjoyed our stay!

15/07/2026: We had lunch here today. Sandwiches and tea. With some cakes to finish it off. The food was exceptional good. One of the best scones in times! Highly recommended!

05/04/2026: Had Dinner on Easter Saturday family of 4 , found the staff very friendly, food was excellent and good value, allowed bring your own wine no corkage charge. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

07/04/2026: Me and my partner are over from the UK and called in today for a game of pool lovely pub and Hannah the wife of the owner was lovely and welcoming would recommend Larry's and will be calling in again before we go home

08/07/2026: Good quality has remained good over the years but the portions are getting steadily smaller and more expensive. I understand rising costs for food businesses but the size of the sauces now that are still 2.30 like when they were much more than double the size is such a rip off . Smallest sauce portion I’ve seen in any takeaway , and paying nearly a fiver for two tiny portions of sauce is really disappointing . Barely enough for a couple chips. Please stop making the sizes smaller or just lower the price with this .
