10/08/2025: People always parking in mother and children spots and they wouldn't have kids with them,even with the parking warden around. Click and collect service in general is ok but not as good as other supermarkets ,e.g. substitutes selected are hit and miss (for example I ordered and air freshener and was given a candle which was 3 times the price !),products very near or on use by date. Other supermarkets do a price match guarantee when selecting substitutes.

02/08/2025: I had the steak burger, which wasn't haute cuisine. I know they overcook the steaks here, but this one was a tough, flavorless block. As for the bacon, it had no flavor, and there was very little sauce. Obviously, I can't judge the entire cuisine based on a single dish; however, this one really wasn't great (and the same goes for the desserts). It's expensive for what it is.
As for the waitresses, they weren't very pleasant (except for one); there was no smile, which is a shame for a restaurant that's supposedly "typically Irish."
I don't know if I'd honestly recommend it, maybe for the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful interior, but nothing more.
13/07/2025: Food always very good. Staff and the lady owner is always attentive and friendly. Could not recommend enough!

17/09/2025: If you walk up to the main square from the castle (You can do it!), you'll find MUCH cheaper (and probably better) sandwiches than close to the castle. We got the brie panini and the chicken pesto panini; both excellent. Price was also excellent. Service was quick and so friendly!
14/08/2025: Excellent coffee with lively cakes etc but the gluten free was underneath the glutenated food uncovered and I protected. Contamination was very likely. I am sorry and look forward to upgrading this review soon.

19/09/2025: They would need to something about the way people park 4 cars across the fuel pumps and none of them getting fuel while others are left waiting to use the pumps one of the cars blocking the pumps was a electric car the staff would need to wake up and and start doing something about it

28/07/2025: We were a party of 8 and we ate here on a Sunday evening. The food was excellent but the beef dishes with Filet beef were fantastic and really worth the extra money. All round fantastic food and very nice staff. Highly recommended.
