The best restaurants in Tipperary

06/04/2025: Cibo fresco cafe advertises itself as an authentic Italian restaurant but there were a few things that pointed away from that claim during my experience dining here today. I tried the meat lover pizza and unfortunately the quality just wasn't there! I'm used to eating a pizza at a great restaurant and being able to savour every slice because it's so tasty but unfortunately the dough and pizza sauce were just tasteless, they also overloaded the pizza with two different kinds of cheese and put lasagna mix in the middle as a beef topping. Wouldn't reccomend eating here if you want an authentic experience with great tasting pizza cooked the traditional way. Food is just oily and tasteless. Service was fine, the guy working in the kitchen was very helpful. Atmosphere was interesting, again a lot of furniture and decor that doesn't match and in general too much going on with lights and flags and signs everywhere. A bit overstimulating.

10/02/2025: Place looks very nice from the inside, girls that are working here are horrible. Got a table service, didnt get one food was out on the counter without the heat lamps under it for 10 minutes no one got it brought down to us or call out order number, workers walked passed and looked at it and did nothing. Half the stuff we ordered was wrong. Order machines have no receipts, wouldnt be a harm to check especially when its quiet. Place looks like it hasnt been cleaned in a while as if nobody working their cares .disgraceful

12/01/2025: they mixed up everything, they didn't put juices in the Happy Meal, they didn't put toys, we noticed the shortage only at home, I'm extremely disappointed

28/12/2024: What has happened to the Parnell Grill? I got a bag of chips which were half cooked, some of them raw yet cold and greasy. Chips were so bad even the dog refused to eat them.Not good enough Parnell Grill!

20/02/2025: Always a treat to stop here when visiting anyone of the many attractions in the area be it climbing the Galty mountains or walking in Glengara Woods ,the castle or the Swiss cottage. The Welcome in this place is always warm and the food is lovely with a great range for all tastes.

18/02/2025: Out first time here. We all had the pork roast and it was lovely!! Well be back again!!

31/01/2025: Horrible experience, I was just passing through Clonmel, parked the car for a stroll and coffee, I regrettably chose here. After waiting at least 3 minutes or more with no staff member present, eventually a guy came out from the back, never said hello or sorry for keeping you, just nodded, I ordered a coffee, which seemed to be putting him out straight away he handed me a paper take away cup, when I asked to put it in an actual cup, he rolled his eyes and tutted at which point I told him it was ok and to keep it and I left. I walked a hundred yards up the road to another little coffee shop which was lovely, friendly full of chat and welcoming.

29/12/2024: Had a great night with my 2 brothers in laws. Nice and clean place. Smoking area, pool room with jukebox. Service was great and locals were friendly and we beat the local pool shark 🤣🤣 A big thank to the staff.

08/10/2024: My first time in Thurles was an absolute pleasure, many thanks to Larry's! Larry and the family serving me were incredibly kind and lovely to talk with; I would highly recommend Larry's to those who find themselves in the Tipperary area.

14/09/2024: Sold us gift vouchers day before they closed permanently, never told us yet took our money , absolutely disgraceful behaviour shame on owner . Closed without any information and hasn’t reopened, tried using vouchers in their other establishments but they won’t accept them Con artists at the finest

21/02/2025: Great place - food is reasonably priced & tasty, portions are filling, on the rare occasion I've had issue out of the MANY times ordering here, it's gotten resolved by just calling. If you like cheese, you have to try the blue cheese topping, I had my doubts the first time ordering it, and then I got hooked on it for the better part of 2 years

08/12/2024: Used the delivery option for the first time Saturday night and it didn’t disappoint. Great menu / great offers / easy to use app( site) . Track your order from oven to gate. The food was delivered within twenty five minutes, excellent customer service. Well done Apache 🕺🏽

27/01/2025: Good kebab and served very quickly

23/11/2024: Had a doner kebab meal here, and I was genuinely impressed! The portion size was massive for such a reasonable price, and it tasted great. Located in a quiet residential area, they offer a wide variety of dishes on their menu. Definitely worth a visit!

16/03/2025: Ordered Niamh’s Vegetable curry & returned it as it was easily the worst excuse for a veg curry i ever encountered as a vegetarian. Almost no vegetables, mostly mixed peppers in a small bowl of sickly sweet chip shop curry sauce. The waitress agreed to replace it with the falafel & hummus salad bowl my partner was having. Eventually after my partner had finished her meal, the same waitress returned & presented me with a grilled chicken salad. We paid up & left.

19/11/2024: Staff were lovely, very fast service. Place itself is a dump, tables were filthy, wiped down with a grubby cloth. The salt and pepper tops were vile, chicken was over cooked, salad tasted awful, soup was so bland. Glass provided was grubby and spoon had someone's chunky food remains on it. Toilets are right beside the kitchen which has an open door

14/04/2025: Cold chips. Flat drink. Burger not made as selected.

05/04/2025: Quite dirty and the atmosphere was created by gangs of travellers and farmers smelling of manure.

19/03/2025: Bit pricey charging €10.00 for small (one glass full) bottle of procecco. All other pubs I was in in Nenagh charged €6.00.
