04/06/2025: Visited here with the small one age 3 and 7 the staff are well seasoned in dealing with kids and made ordering easy ,the staff could not have been nicer ,lovely brunch worth a visit

11/06/2025: Here on holiday and wish I lived in the area to visit more often. My third visit on this holiday and on each occasion Cafe Q has never failed to impress me. The atmosphere is purely local with a few tourists in just to add to the interest. From the cafe latte to my toasted mozzarella melt with basil pesto everything was served promptly. I would love to take Cafe Q and all the staff home with me

02/06/2025: They changed the brec menu lately and took away all the good stuff. Nothing worth ordering now. Also, Working off the back of a major bakery you’d think the croissants are fresh. ALWAYS stale.

19/03/2025: Bit pricey charging €10.00 for small (one glass full) bottle of procecco. All other pubs I was in in Nenagh charged €6.00.

10/03/2025: Staff members Aoife and Megan are always very helpful to my colleagues and myself, they go above and beyond for take away and dine in experiences. They make the best coffees in town it’s a very friendly atmosphere, very professional and great sandwiches :)

29/05/2025: On a recent 8-day holiday we stayed at the close-by Talbot Hotel in Clonmel. Instead of breakfasting at the hotel, we went to Esquires Coffee Clonmel. My wife and I had a breakfast of porridge, fruit and honey and a black Americano coffee each morning. Delicious and it set us up for the day. €10 each. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

01/02/2025: The most pleasant staff and had the most delicious sandwich that I have ever had. My go to place when in Clonmel Fabulous value and great food. A pleasure to visit👏👏

08/03/2025: my girlfriend and I walked into this chipper together. We both looked at the menu together and after a minute of deliberations, decided what we would get. I sat down and my gf walker over to the till and ordered our food. While I was sitting waiting, I noticed one of the staff staring at me, which felt quite uneasy .soon after 3 members of staff started shouting at me "hello hello, are you OK, do you want something to eat?" I looked up from my phone told them I was ok and that I had ordered. I was told to come to the till to order, and I had to explain three times that my gf who was stood at the till was waiting for the other. This was done in front of all the other customers which was quite unprofessional and with no apology. Food was ok but found this experience pretty strange.

16/03/2025: Ordered Niamh’s Vegetable curry & returned it as it was easily the worst excuse for a veg curry i ever encountered as a vegetarian. Almost no vegetables, mostly mixed peppers in a small bowl of sickly sweet chip shop curry sauce. The waitress agreed to replace it with the falafel & hummus salad bowl my partner was having. Eventually after my partner had finished her meal, the same waitress returned & presented me with a grilled chicken salad. We paid up & left.

15/06/2025: From the moment we walked in the door we were treated poorly, The man at the counter was rude and nearly sent us away as we arrived at 9 and it says online that they close at 11 o clock he didn’t want to seat us because he said they close at 10 o clock, as we got seated he rushed us with our order(didn’t even get a chance to look at the menu) before he came over, as we were leaving at 10 past 10 he was still taking orders over the phone and seating people, the food was alright but would not recommend if you appreciate good customer service

26/05/2025: I have to say the quality has really declined from my first post, the recipes have changed, the portions are getting much smaller while the prices have gone right up, While the food is still nice it's nowhere near the quality it used to be, it's no longer great value

16/06/2025: Got some Singapore noodles , they tasted like they had been microwaved. Super friendly staff. But the guy behind the counter had been cutting his nails and the sound turned me off already not great food.

25/05/2025: Starters were both very good , calamariand spring rolls , unfortunately the 2 mains were not , the crispy chicken with curry was so dry , and the curry was extremely bland , the other main was a satay , and probably the worst I've tasted , extremely thick and certainly not satay tasting , such a pity as we were recommended this place by a friend.

18/06/2025: Great food in the town I really enjoyed the meal and the milkshakes are very yummy I would love to visit again
