The best restaurants in Tipperary

18/08/2025: Very nice food and staff were lovely. Very little wait time even during busy breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

20/07/2025: While the service and atmosphere were good, the food wasn't. I loathe to leave negative reviews, but when they're earned I have no choice. We ordered the Mexican chicken burger. The menu stated that it's spicy, which I like. But that chicken wasn't spicy. That chicken was like having 5 different strong spices screaming for your attention while you pour pure salt into your mouth. Inedible. We also ordered the falafel wrap. The falafel itself was OK, but the vegan mayo was like eating margarine with a spoon. We left nauseous and disappointed.

13/03/2025: Manager seemed quite rude to staff when i visited, The girl behind the counter was particularly lovely. I think i heard her name was sarah by one of the other employees.

21/12/2024: I didn't like the way your staff handled the top of the glass with their fingers. Mauled the rim of the glass. It kinda put me off: the potential lack of hygiene. My first day working in a bar my manager told me "you've about eight inches of a glass to handle. The rim is for the customers lips." That kinda stuck with me. He's not far from wrong with that.

10/03/2025: Staff members Aoife and Megan are always very helpful to my colleagues and myself, they go above and beyond for take away and dine in experiences. They make the best coffees in town it’s a very friendly atmosphere, very professional and great sandwiches :)

06/07/2025: Food is good. I asked for 2 regular americans and 1 latte he gave me 2 lattes. I explained his error and he has a look of annoyance on his face but I didn't take it personally as english clearly isn't his main language. I then didn't understand the receipt he gave me as I didn't know there was a coffee and scone for a particular price and I didn't see a charge for the second americano so when I went over to ask him he threw his eyes up to heaven like I was a problem customer. Not to worry I won't ever go into quigleys again, I should have read other reviews before I went in.

06/09/2025: I used to like going to esquires…now I’m not too fussed these days. It all changed there when they changed their menu. The had the best sweet chilli chicken noodle salad and ten for whatever reason stopped it and revamped the menu. I’m not inclined to order from there at all now. I do go in sometimes when a family member want a cuppa. That becomes another annoyance for me because any time I’ve asked for 2 teas, we get 1 pot. If I wanted 1 pot for two, I would have asked for it. This happened again to us yesterday but I was prevented from saying anything which I regret now. I did say something the first time it happened to me. I didn’t think I would have to be extremely exact in what I’d want. Just a tip for esquires though, please ask the customer if they want 2 pots or one large if they’re ordering tea for 2

30/08/2025: We had breakfast this morning, full Irish & pancakes, very generous portions, staff friendly, look forward going there again shortly, such great menu, suit everyone

03/08/2025: The food was served quickly, the environment was clean, and the dishes recommended by the boss were all good. The crispy duck and stir-fried vegetables were both delicious. The tomato and egg soup with Chinese balsamic vinegar was very appetizing.

02/08/2025: Hello I just was to say the food and the service was excellent and myself and my partner and her son are down for the long weekend and it was such a lovely place to come and to have some lovely food thanks so much we will be back again

29/07/2025: Food is absolutely awful. On a few occasions I've gotten food there and it's not nice at all.battered sausages are horrible and greasy pizza ain't bad but Luke warm at best chicken fillet burgers are over cooked.

27/07/2025: Me and my partner first went to the other restaurant in portlaoise at first because I stopped going there so we would try the other restaurant star of India in thurles we ordered our starter my partner's food wasn't great no taste mine was nice and then the man come out I ordered a chicken tikka masala so did my partner but it was very bland tasteless and it was not a red colour more like a orangery colour so I will not be going there again

18/06/2025: Place was filthy, food was absolutely disgusting. Rubbery chips and chicken was just a ball of slime 😅 staff were impolite and their was a customer aloud to stand their messing with his bits in his pants for about 5 minutes while we ate having a scratch 😐

06/08/2025: Ordered food took an hour to come just opened tinfoil found snots and hairs pointed it out to them and asked for my money back or I was leaving review so they tried to stab my brother with a knife took his phone and he wouldnt give it back tried to hit him with his phone then threw the card machine at him all because we video it and then tried to hit him with an umbrella tried to corner me so basically If u want a snotty hairy kabab and have the stabbing experience it’s your 5 star restaurant 😂😂😂😂😂😂👌

23/07/2025: We've always said the food here is excellent. However, recently we've tried a few other place's in town, and, it's just confirmed what we knew anyway... That this is without doubt, the best pizzeria and kebab shop in town. Food is always top notch. Fresh and delicious. The chicken tikka kebab is beautiful. Everyone loves the burgers from here, and the pizza is always perfect. The chips, just right every time! We won't be shopping around again. This is hands down nicest food every time! We always get delivery, its around 40 minutes, we are always happy. Thanks very much for always serving high quality food lads! 👌🏽

30/08/2025: I got a curry cheese chip and I almost choked and I couldn't breath and no worker helped they just looked at me and walked away and my friend had to help me.

08/07/2025: Supermacs in roscrea is greatly appreciated I hope they can keep such a high standard of food compared to other restaurants My opinion on some of the food is that the selection is really good but always could I do it improving

16/05/2025: We didn't expect to find a Pakistani restaurant of this quality in Tipperary, in a neighborhood without any particular charm. We should especially note the simple kindness of the service, the clarity of the explanations required by a rather varied menu, the exceptional quality of the dishes served, particularly in terms of the meats used (chicken and lamb). Ultimately, the memory of a very unexpected gastronomic evening.
