02/05/2026: If i could give it 0 star i would but unfortunately to post this i had to give it a star!!!Absolute disgrace that you dont have an allergen menu displayed and when asked about it as my daughter has coeliac disease to be told that you dont do that there. I then asked if there was wheatflour in the curry to be told that you didnt know and wouldn't even ask, It actually took me a minute for it to register what was being said to me. To say we left fairly quickly, knowing that you dont know what is going into your food is scary. And the fact that you do not take allergies seriously is frightening.

01/03/2026: Always very good, on weekend night can be 30+ minutes for food just plan in advance.

27/04/2026: As takeaway goes it doesn't get better than this! The 7.5 Oz burger is the bee's knees! Freshly cooked and delicious! The staff are amazing very multicultural, the attitude was friendly and very attentive! Great food , great service at a good price

30/03/2026: Went in and sat down with my partner waiting on others to come and got kicked out because we didn’t order straight away the Irish delivery man came over then and rudely asked us to leave and slammed the door went a couple of weeks ago again and food was terrible chips half cooked and cold there chicken didn’t even taste like chicken wouldn’t go there again bad place rather eat the dogs dinner this place should be shut down

05/03/2026: Was in there recently and the place was manky floor full of dirtypaper and god knows wat the toilets ud need a canoe 2 float over the urine ...the food chips were freezing chicken half cooked ye really need a reality check .... id give no stars if I could ....

02/01/2026: Worst experience ever. Food was slow to come out. What you call a full irish I would not even call it a half. Toast was only hot bread. This was at Tesco Powerstown Clonmel.

12/09/2025: I used to like going to esquires…now I’m not too fussed these days. It all changed there when they changed their menu. They had the best sweet chilli chicken noodle salad and then for whatever reason stopped it and revamped the menu. I’m not inclined to order from there at all now. I do go in sometimes when a family member want a cuppa. That becomes another annoyance for me because any time I’ve asked for 2 teas, we get 1 pot. If I wanted 1 pot for two, I would have asked for it. This happened again to us yesterday but I was prevented from saying anything which I regret now. I did say something the first time it happened to me. I didn’t think I would have to be extremely exact in wording for what I’d want. Just a tip for esquires though, please ask the customer if they want 2 pots or one large if they’re ordering tea for 2. Some people might like their own pot for the price charged.

28/09/2025: Soup was cold and food was forgotten about. Food taste wasn’t great and very over priced for what it is. 2 x toasted sandwiches and one toastie combo with 3 drinks was over €32.

13/05/2026: Busy restaurant with fantastic fresh food. Very friendly service.

21/03/2026: This was the second time we got food here and neither times the experience was great. Ordered takeaway. Got it in a timely manner as they were busy. The food on the other hand, not a vegetable in sight, dry rice, about 4 pieces of chicken in a adult portion with a litre of sauce. All the dishes taste the same, bland and no flavour to them. Spend over €60 on 2 adult meals, a kids meal and 2 nan breads (which were the only nice thing). Unfortunately it was a huge waste of money.

25/08/2025: Just played golf. The course was in excellent condition and so manicured..... The staff in the club house bar/restaurant were friendly and helpful. Mary in the Pro Shop is a delight ... couldn't do enough for us .

29/09/2025: Visiting Clonmel as French tourists, we had a fantastic evening with the musicians last Monday. I recommend all French tourists visiting County Tipperary to make a detour on Monday evening to the Baker's Bar in Clonmel 😀! Atmosphere guaranteed.

28/09/2025: Live music and heartfelt ambience with a marvellous Helen who’s managing that place so lovely. It was my first time in Clonmel, hope it’ll not be the last. Barkers is a must. Period

25/04/2026: Ordered a bag Chips here. Price €4.10 Chips cold and soggy and not many of them as she mumbled about putting extra in the bag. Look at the photos

23/11/2025: Wouldn't recommend food had no texture the spice bag seemed like it was prepared 2 hours before we actually placed the order avoid!!
