05/03/2026: Spent like 20 mins waiting cuz the machin froze and they wouldn’t use a second one. I nearly died of hunger.

01/03/2026: A busy spot, with a drive through also available. Plenty of food and beverage choices inside.

28/11/2025: It is difficult to write such a review. Quality of food is ok, nothing stands out in either way. However, the portion sizes are lacking a bit, ESPECIALLY when compared with the competition (mostly with Riverside China House). I used to frequent a few times to dine in, and had no complaints. For takeaway, there are better options. The only saving grace for Pagar Garden is that some days they open at 12pm, which is when no other takeaway is opened.

21/12/2025: Great venue, very friendly staff, excellent food and it had an nice and cozy feel to it. Even though there was about 16 of us service was quick and they have an excellent drinks menu too.

03/12/2025: We had our lunch here yesterday. I had to wait about 40 mins for my food. The food was lovely but the portions could have been a bit bigger.

01/10/2025: Stayed here as I was working locally rooms are spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff great pints I would recommend.

19/05/2025: Had heard good things about this place so we decided to try it. We arrived at 11:45 and a lady said that we'd missed breakfast but could order dinner at 12 which was fine. We sat down and she handed us some menus. After about 15 minutes a different lady came over and barked "you've the wrong menus" she took the menus and walked off. She came back a few moments later with a different but basically identical menu. She went away and another girl (young and friendly) took our order and was friendly. As we were sitting by the door we had an opportunity to see every customer who was coming in. Pretty much every customer was treated like an inconvenience by the first lady we met. She was saying things like: "How many? 4 is it? Well you'll have to wait 25 minutes as there's as least 20 ahead" or "We're very busy. There's a load of people ahead of you". Nobody received a friendly greeting which is a pity as everyone was out for Sunday lunch. Many were elderly or had young children. The lady could have said something like: " Hi folks, lovely day out isn't it? Are you enjoying the sun? I'm afraid there's a few ahead of you but I'm happy to offer you a drink while you wait" An elderly man came in with a child. Before he even said anything the woman barked: "we've no tables" He asked if he could get a take away and she said yes in about 30 minutes. He asked what he could order and she simply pointed to the specials board and didn't even offer him a menu. Food was OK, not bad just ok. We felt like we were in the way the entire time. Wouldn't return. Basis customer service training is needed.

27/10/2025: Impossible to get table service. Tables left uncleared. Staff all hiding behind counter joking among themselves. They give you a menu and then ignore you. I ended up just leaving.

30/08/2025: Tasty treats and a nice sandwich. Great friendly service and nice seata. Relaxed ambiance. Open a little later than some other cafes which was welcome!

02/01/2026: Quite rude and dismissive. Disrespectful treatment. Food is edible. That's it.

04/12/2025: Used to be one if the best places in cashel. The lad that worked there for many years left and it's going downhill rapidly ever since.

14/02/2026: Stopped in for a couple pints and had a lovely time. The owner is delightful and the setting so beautiful! Would love to just simply stay ❤️

17/10/2025: After recieving the wrong food order, I contacted wok time. They told me to send back everything, which i did and they returned 40 mins later with half my order missing. They declined my calls and waited over an hour to return the rest of my order. Very rude

19/09/2025: They would need to something about the way people park 4 cars across the fuel pumps and none of them getting fuel while others are left waiting to use the pumps one of the cars blocking the pumps was a electric car the staff would need to wake up and and start doing something about it

19/02/2026: They got my order wrong 3 times i had to just leave without my food or a refund because it was that bad , I didn’t even know what to say after they tried to give me the wrong item for the fourth time and I was the only person getting food even the drive through was empty .the place is actually a joke

03/01/2026: Ordered a spice bag from here a few years back and in the middle of it I found some already chewed chewing gum and when I complained the owner shouted at me on the phone not believing me and now to this day will refuse to deliver to my address, even to different family members. Very unfair behaviour for something that was completely their fault.

09/12/2025: When u walk in you are greeted as if u were an old friend. The restaurant is large and airy lots of seating. They are good at accommodating small groups(12ish) with a reservation. There is a wide selection between the menu and specials board
