Mikey Ryan's Bar & Kitchen in Cashel legal

Could not fault this place at all. Food was fab, service was excellent. Highly recommended.

On our trip to Dublin on 04th APRIL, we stopped in Cashel and decided to have a quick meal at Mikey Ryan’s Bar and Kitchen. We chose the risotto and the chicken burger, and both were tasty and well prepared. Everything was correct, and the service was friendly. The restaurant is in a convenient location, and parking is available nearby, though you need to pay for it. Two hours is the maximum time allowed, but it was enough to enjoy our meal and have a short walk around Cashel afterwards.

A charming place, from the moment you enter through the pub with its fireplace, you'll want to stay. In the back, there's a modern restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and lighting. We were lucky enough to have Biel, a super attentive waiter who made the experience even better than we expected. Our friend Fiona from Kilkenny recommended the place, and it didn't disappoint. The food was beautifully presented and of excellent quality.

What looked like a bar and possibly some bar food by a fire turned out to be an impressive labyrinth with exceptional food. The attention to detail shouts professionalism and prepares you for the delivery in the quality of service and taste in the dishes served. The price was justified based on the total experience. I’m personally delighted to see Cashel hosting a culinary experience like this. Any tourist to this town would only be impressed. The staff were very well presented and courteous, while having the local charm in a chat. Well done Cashel ☘️👏🏻

I hadn’t looked at the menu ahead of time so arrived with no particular expectations, and it was great to be so impressed. The food was excellent, the service warm and the setting lovely. I wolfed down my starter (the smoked haddock velouté) and the burger was superb - a thick cut of meat piled with dressings and served with homemade chips. The wine list looked good, though I would have appreciated a non-alcoholic wine to match. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Had lunch on 30/12/25. Very comfortable small dining area at back of bar. Ordered roast lamb shank, which was lovely—- but was somewhat spoiled by lack of vegetables, except for one carrot. I thought this a bit mean ! No reaction to my “ mean with vegs” review of 20/122025. !!!!!!!

Always reliable for quality food and service in a relaxed environment

The real fireplace combined with the red spruce made an incredible impression of this place. A good stay for reasonable money. I will definitely come back again! One of the best establishments in Cashel.

I had higher expectations. Food was fine, but it was all very rushed.

Cute restaurant, pleasant setting. The food was rather disappointing. A vegetarian dish with an astonishing mix of flavors, but poorly cooked. Disappointing value for money.
