Excellent service and very friendly atmosphere

We visited here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and we were well attended to at all times. The food was amazing and we just about squeezed a dessert in between two of us after some excellent starters and mains.

We were surprised how good the food was. Some very original ideas, I will highlight the cabbage, no idea it could be so good! Also plenty of choice for gluten-free diet, including desserts

This was my second visit to Mikey Ryan's and another lovely experience. Excellent service, good range of options on the lunch menu. They were kind to make space for our babies and prams etc. I'm looking forward to coming back again for the next catch-up with old friends.

Delicious food and fantastic service from Leanne. She was very helpful and had a good knowledge of allergens. They were more than happy to help and accommodate my dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend for food and a great overall experience. Make sure you prebook a table!

We only popped in for a drink to get out of the rain. But we were so impressed we will be back to eat. Thank you so much Came back had Sunday lunch. Wow its amazing. The short Beef Rib was gorgeous. Can say enough A⭐️ all the way The Pavalova was so good. Will return next year. Returned 28th June 2026 Roast beef was just perfect tender as anything melted in the mouth. Wonderful as always. We will be back in 27

The food was delicious; we had a burger and cocktails. Highly recommended.

Nice bar and restaurant. Just walk through to the back of this nice pub. You will then enter the restaurant area and large terrace. At the back, there is also a glass-enclosed room for a group of 10 to 12 people. Everything is neat and tidy, and there is plenty of competent and friendly staff.

Overpriced and underwhelming. We booked a table for three and told them that it was for a birthday, asking if there was anything special they could do. We were told to make sure the birthday celebrant ordered dessert and that they would write a greeting (in chocolate) on the plate, which they didn't. Unfortunately that wasn't the only disappointment. We asked for sparkling water, and were brought a lukewarm bottle and no ice. The food was only okay. I had a steak sandwich, which was tasty, but incredibly sparse. A small steak cooked medium-well (I asked for rare, having been asked how I liked it) on a single piece of bread with a bowl of fries for €27 seems a bit cheeky, while my wife's chicken burger was similarly unspectacular. We also had to call the server back to ask for sauces which weren't offered. Dessert was also disappointing, with almost no fruit at all in either the rhubarb or apple-based dishes. Trading on a good name, now a mediocre dining experience at high-end prices.
