Food is not always consistent unfortunately. Beautiful atmosphere, interior and environment. Sometimes food is not steaming hot. Rich flavours which are not fully outlined on the menu. For example the gravy with the roast beef has an anicede flavour... I don't like anicede! Outline on menus. My roasties and Yorkshire pudding were luke warm to cold on my plate when it was served the beef. Honestly, head chef must check that before it goes out to customers. Otherwise, as long as its not too busy it's okay generally.

Went there for the first time with my wife. Great ambience with relaxed professional staff that are smartly dressed in a casual manner. Starter of duck confit and salmon was very tasty. The Hake was good and beef was tender. Good portions and well prepared. Tasty too. A great interlude for St Patrick Day.

Had a beautiful meal for a belated mothers day and it was beautiful from start to finish.

Food was very good. Service was disorganized and very slow at times.

Opportunistic stop during a drive from Dublin to Cork. Absolutely gorgeous pub with a fire on entry and a lovely dining room to the rear with fab food and service. Would have sat in the pub all day by the fire if we didn’t have to keep driving! Highly recommend
