One of the nicest Duck dishes I've ever eaten

Very atmospheric place. Stone slabs on the floor. Wooden stylized tables and chairs. Live fire. The chowder was simply fantastic. This is the best chowder I have tasted in Ireland. France, or Britain. It is much better even in an institution with a Michelin star. Thank you, I really liked it.

We went there for dinner. The meal was good and the waitress was very attentive. That day, there was live music (every Wednesday in the summer)! Overall, a good experience. Perhaps the price was a little high, but that's the going rate in the area. Thank you very much!

I’d say the best kitchen porters in Clare. Luke served me and he was spectacular. The food was amazing and the service was on a different level. Thanks lads

We had a fab meal at Goosers on eclipse day. Lovely pate followed by seabass mains and fish n chip.

First time like it, and second time feel it’s alright. Duck and pate is nice. seafood chowder is not as good as I thought too many salmon in it and not thick. Soup of the day is better.ask for water and waiter will Bring you bottle water in instead of jug of water. Better clarity before order.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and of excellent quality! The portions could have been a bit larger, though. We would definitely come back.

We’ve eaten at Goosers Bar and Restaurant on a number of occasions now, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The food is consistently exceptional. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and you can really tell that quality and attention to detail are at the heart of everything that comes out of the kitchen. It’s the kind of place where you’re already looking forward to your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal. What really sets Goosers apart though is the people. Every member of staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. You never feel like just another table; they take the time to chat, have a laugh, and make sure everything is just right. One thing I particularly love is seeing the interaction between the staff themselves. The banter, the laughs, and the obvious respect they have for one another creates an atmosphere that’s hard to describe but impossible not to notice. It’s refreshing to see a team that clearly enjoys working together, and that positive energy spreads throughout the restaurant and really adds to the whole experience. For us, Goosers is much more than somewhere to eat. It’s somewhere you can relax, enjoy fantastic food and drink, and leave in a better mood than when you arrived. That says everything about the place. A real credit to everyone involved. We’ll be back again soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
