Beautiful food lovely scenery friendly staff

Our family loved it here! Food was excellent, pool was very fun!

Had a lovely stay at the Lakeside Hotel. Stayed for one night in the waterfront rooms. The room was great with a very comfy bed, big TV, nice clean bathroom and a great view of the river with a small outside are where you can sit. Made use of the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cold plunge in the leisure centre which was nice and relaxing. Staff were all very friendly from reception through to the restaurant and bar.

Visited with my mother and son for lunch in O Haras bar. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. Special thanks to Pawel for his outstanding service and professionalism. Would highly recommend.

Hotel in beautiful location on the River Shannon. Slightly apart from the main building are 16 lakeside rooms with amazing views. Every single staff member we met was happy, friendly, helpful and mostly efficient. The included breakfast buffet was very good. The leisure centre has an excellent pool as well as the usual jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and plunge pool. Again, staff very helpful. Excellent bar and casual dining room good. Unfortunately the main restaurant is not open mid week off season. Apart from one course in our chosen meals, the food was, sorry for repeating myself, excellent. Would definitely go again I felt the prices were quite reasonable.

Stunning location beside Lough Derg. Need I say more? Fabulous bar and views from the large windows onto the lake.

We had a lovely room overlooking the Shannon River. The service in the restaurant was excellent despite being so busy.

The hotel is in a wonderful rural landscape, in a building from the 19th century. On the banks of a river and near an ancient bridge. A. A very good morning despite the lack of fresh vegetables. Not kosher for the religious population. The hotel staff is very pleasant and happy to help if needed.

Stayed in the superior waterfront room and it did not disappoint. Extremely beautiful hotel, staff very helpful, food both dinner & breakfast was excellent. Leisure facilities were fabulous. Nothing negative to say about this hotel.
