27/06/2025: Absolutely the best place to stop for a coffee in Cashel. The owner was so lovely and also tried his homemade brownies!

05/10/2025: We stopped by for coffee and pastries in the morning. Even though it was early, we were immediately greeted by a very nice woman behind the counter. She went through a few of our options and gave us some recommendations. I had a delicious blueberry, pear tart. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again.

26/09/2025: A great place to rest your sore legs and aching feet. The second floor is where you want to eat any goodies you buy here. Plenty of sandwich and savoy and sweet baked goods to choose from. All top notch.

13/09/2025: Menu outdated, I picked the lasagne because the menu didn’t appeal to me and the lamb shank I’ve had twice before I wasn’t happy with. The steak was way overpriced so I couldn’t choose that… The Lasagne was served in a shallow enamel dish (like the old butter dishes), portions too small for Priceline attached. What I thought was really terrible and insulting, I was asked if I’d like chips or salad with the lasagne? Makes no sense at all, of course you’d want both for the price! When it came, there was very few chips and a measly bit of salad! I also found a napkin on the plate under the food, I was gathering chips and salad on the fork when it peered out at me. Thank god I copped it! My wife had a vegan or vegetarian bruschetta…. I mean 1 slice of bread for €16. It’s not Gordon Ramsey and actually I’ve eaten in the ivy in London and had bigger portions. Absolutely insulting prices for what we got. The menu is basic and not very appealing. Also a hotel selling burgers for €20 when you can get a burger anywhere in Cashel the same quality for a lot cheaper makes it a sham. Take off the same old items from the menu (burgers, lamb shank etc) served for years and update with more creative, vibrant dishes worthy of the high prices yer charging. Big disappointment for our anniversary evening.

17/08/2025: Dropped in for some late lunch and managed to get an outside seat as beautiful afternoon. Excellent service. Food perfect as always.

23/11/2025: The real fireplace combined with the red spruce made an incredible impression of this place. A good stay for reasonable money. I will definitely come back again! One of the best establishments in Cashel.

14/11/2025: I had higher expectations. Food was fine, but it was all very rushed.

18/08/2025: Very pleasant welcome in this family-run pastry shop and tea room. Excellent breakfast, the scones are delicious (plain, raisin, or rhubarb). The coffee tasted not great, but everything else was good.

30/09/2025: Brilliant spot on a Monday night, the band is real and really good ~ beyond good ~better than the bands playing big venues! Great night in Cashel 👍

31/08/2025: Used to be one if the best places in cashel. The lad that worked there for many years left and it's going downhill rapidly ever since.
