30/03/2024: My favourite spot in KK for breakfast and lunch. The food is so good and staff are friendly and welcoming. I don’t have any pictures from my order because I immediately eat everything, it’s always soo good. I’ve tried almost everything in the menu, full Irish, pancakes, scones, burger, sandwiches, coffee… :)
Also their homemade salad dressing is delicious!
It’s always busy but the service is quick and efficient. Staff is lovely.
I highly recommend this place!

03/04/2024: First experience eating in Ireland was here.. wasn't a fan. Speaking of fans, if you go here look at the ceiling, the fans are ran by belts!
31/03/2024: Really nice decor inside.Good place to watch sports as well.Big screens all around.The Hake fillet was very nice.Staff very friendly and prompt service.Food a bit expensive but good quality.

10/03/2024: If we could leave more than 5 stars we would!! We visited this place on a Saturday afternoon and were welcomed like family!! The food, the atmosphere, the service was all the best!! We had to come back the next evening, even though we were not hungry, just to see the staff and experience the place one more time. John and his staff were so warm, friendly and gracious to us. The food and drinks were superb!! If you are any where near this place you MUST stop in!!

03/04/2024: I'm turn....on one hand, the girls were doing a great job on the other hand, the kitchen kept screwing up our orders and allergy requests! Had to get a salad redone twice and a burger 3 times! By time burger was done correctly the fries were cold and our other dish we ordered as well as I waited for my wife to get her correct food as well... you'd think the management would offer to comp the dish? Maybe a desert? How about a pint to make things right? But unfortunately nothing was said or done.... sad... not rocket science guys....the food , once served CORRECTLY was good

01/04/2024: I'm probably biased about this establishment partly due to its history, but I like the place, the staff are friendly and competent, the food is delicious and I'm a picky vegetarian, prices are reasonable and entertainment is provided from traditional music to sports. Child friendly too, can get very busy but the wait is never too long Great spot .

15/03/2024: Fantastic Italian gem where we least expected it. Wonderful ambiance, excellent drinks, the goat cheese tart was amazing, as was the pizza. I loved having local traditional food while in Ireland, but this was a surprise find that should not be missed. The pizza is obviously a craft for them. Enjoy it slowly!

The soup and salad are really delicious and were welcome after the Stena Line cuisine.

05/03/2024: From start to finish it was a wonderful experience! The staff, atmosphere, wine and food was outstanding. We went with a group of friends and everyone thought it was fab. Can't wait to return.

26/02/2024: Always a great place to have a few drinks in when in kilkenny. Staff are the most welcoming & friendly. Seems to be a spot for regular locals returning. Atmosphere for football been shown & then live music too. Ideal location just across the road from the markets & the castle.

22/03/2024: I don't think they serve food and you have to go up to the bar to get your own drinks, but it was a great place to go to because they had a singing duo that was unmatched to anywhere else we heard music.....such a great performance !!! Everyone (and we had large group) was singing, clapping, bouncing, tapping or dancing along to evey song. They even took requests. Such an incredible time !!

25/03/2024: I had a beautiful lemon cheese cake & asked to also have a long neck Bulmers..
‼️⁉️NEVER have I experienced this ..I was told I wasn't allowed to have a bulmers as *I wasn't having food 😐..
I laughed, thinking the waitress was joking.(as I clearly had food in front of me *the cheese cake ) I was told if I wasn't eating a meal I wasn't allowed the bulmers ..policy ..RIDICULOUS..
5pm in the evening after hiking Brandon Hill..WILL never be back !
I've eaten here many times ..what a shame..

04/04/2024: Went there on st patricks day. Staff were lovely and helpful getting us seating.they had a few different groups playing music and there was a great atmosphere to the place.we didn't have food so I can't comment on it.pints of Guinness were gorgeous.
24/01/2024: A cozy little bar where you can relax. Snack on a few small snacks in between. Simply great. But the best thing was that the owner spoke German. So we had a little chat, including suggestions about what else we could see. Great. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come by.
