Left Bank in Kilkenny

First experience eating in Ireland was here.. wasn't a fan. Speaking of fans, if you go here look at the ceiling, the fans are ran by belts!

Really nice decor inside.Good place to watch sports as well.Big screens all around.The Hake fillet was very nice.Staff very friendly and prompt service.Food a bit expensive but good quality.

The food was GREAT! So glad we chose this place during a stop on a bus tour. Everything tasted very fresh and came piping hot to the table. We especially enjoyed the Chicken BLT on ciabatta, as well as the soup of the day which was tomato and turmeric. Breads on the side of the soups were fresh and just delicious. The Atlantic fish soup was definitely tasty and filled with lots of vegetables, just not our favourite out of the rest during this meal! Quality food and great atmosphere at a very reasonable price. All servers encountered were kind and very attentive to any requests. Thank you!

I don't know what herbs and spices that are used in the rotisserie chicken but this was the best meal I've ever had in my life! Every bit of it was eaten.

Don't always have food. But I'm never disappointed

We discovered the establishment by chance, since given its name and decoration we thought it was an old bank converted into a nightclub, but we decided to try it since we were looking for a place to eat and we were very pleasantly surprised. Without a doubt, it is an excellent gastrobar in which everything enters through the eyes, from the particularity of the building, its lighting in reddish tones, the clothing of the waiters and the interior furniture that combines a style typical of the most Versailles French and the classic Irish pub. . As for the food, we were pleasantly surprised by the good presentation of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients. The dishes are not very complex, but the selection of ingredients and their good preparation make the flavors stand out very well. Additionally, the portions are of a considerable size. It offers a large selection of wines and cocktails with which it is difficult for you not to find one that suits your tastes. As for the cost, the price of the dishes is around 15 euros so it is not strange to spend around 25-30 euros per diner. It doesn't seem expensive to me for the quality it offers, but it is something to take into account. Without a doubt, a more than recommended place if you decide to visit Kilkenny and leave with a great taste in your mouth.

LOVED this stop! Ordered Fish and Chips and they did not disappoint. Walter wasn’t overly friendly, he never checked on us during lunch and it took a good bit of time for him to bring us our bill. Location, atmosphere and food were great though!!
