Kyteler’s Inn in Kilkenny

Great pub with delicious fish and chips! Loved the atmosphere of traditional pub and history of it.

Food was good. Service was Meh. Definitely not as much fun as it could have been, given the history. It lacked personality and character.

A beautiful and very quaint pub in the heart of Kilkenny. We went for a quick lunch, and I can recommend the fried Camembert slices, truly delicious!

This was our first time in Kilkenny and this historic pub is a must see for so many reasons. The folklore of Kyteler's Inn origin story and authentic historical building is worth a trip alone. Combine this with good food, exceptional staff and a magickal upstairs where traditional and modern music find the perfect Irish venue, makes this gem so much more than a place to grab a bite. You will want to carve out time to make it the experience it truly is. The staff also were beyond helpful when I misplaced a pair of prescription sunglasses. We popped by several times over our stay, to see if they had turned up. The wonderful Mags, asked for my contact info in case they turned up with a promise to mail them back to me....in Canada. This story has a happy ending as the sunglasses were found before we left and returned! Mags took a special interest in my plight and really came through for me. An amazing example of the good vibes awaiting you at Kyteler's Inn ✨️ This was one of our favorite stops in Kilkenny!

A quaint and beautiful Irish pub. The food and beer are excellent, the service is fast, and the staff are very friendly. My wife and I had lunch there, and I highly recommend it.

We had dinner here on our last night in Ireland. They had an Irish folk music band playing live music. It was fantastic. The food was delicious.
