22/03/2024: No food, just drinks served here, but we had a great time. The live entertainment was very good and totally enjoyable. Two friendly bartenders and great service. It 's a small but busy place !!

22/10/2023: Very cool place with great staff and drinks! If coming for your first time, it can be a little tricky to find (if using GPS, look down the alley for their sign). If I were a local this would definitely be a regular visit to have a drink and chill. (Also has live music some days of the week.)

23/03/2024: €30 odd euro for a main course but the food is boring and has 0 flavour. We were right in the city centre of Dublin yesterday and had cheaper and much better food sorry but it just wasn't up to spec

25/03/2024: Gets better each time we're there. Superb food and excellent warm staff, and secretly family friendly to all us, including the youngest of our party. Not to be missed.

24/03/2024: To start with the place looks very nice and fresh. The staff is polite and friendly. The food is underwhelming though, the 1/2 duckling I had is very dry so I wasn't able to finish it. The negative surprise is the way this restaurant has structured their menu, it is confusing at least. It is not possible to pick the dish on its own as they bundled them in obligatory 2 courses for Eur 31.50 and 3 courses for Eur 39.50, but the evil is in the detail. Some of the dishes require a supplement which is written in a way that it is not clear at all. As they only put numbers and do not add currency to it. Like they put "supplement 8" - which to me is absolutely not self explanatory. (See the menu photo). Also even if you go for the '3 courses' option they charge it at the end as a 2 course meal + supplement. So in our case we went for 2 courses plus 3 courses meal, which according to the menu should be Eur 31.50+Eur39.50= Eur 72. However when the bill arrived it was for almost 100 Euro as they added 3 more supplements! I understand they are on the mission to maximize each check, but cheating with the menu this way is on the border of a modern day robbery. Considering this I for once will not go there again.

30/03/2024: My favourite spot in KK for breakfast and lunch. The food is so good and staff are friendly and welcoming. I don’t have any pictures from my order because I immediately eat everything, it’s always soo good. I’ve tried almost everything in the menu, full Irish, pancakes, scones, burger, sandwiches, coffee… :) Also their homemade salad dressing is delicious! It’s always busy but the service is quick and efficient. Staff is lovely. I highly recommend this place!

25/03/2024: This was a birthday treat for me and was my first time in a Michelin starred restaurant. We were running a little late for our booking and called ahead and it was no issue. The staff were so friendly and they were very attentive. The presentation of the food was amazing, such wonderful detail and lovely flavours, we had the early bird which was three courses for 48 euro each. We found this to be reasonable for the dining experience. The starter I had was our favourite dish of the night. Oxtail croquette served in lentils. One word "beautiful". I had lamb for mains and was a little underwhelmed, I didn't like the texture of the lamb and I wasn't a fan of the beans served with the dish but that could be just personal preference. The mash on the side was divine as smooth as silk and very rich and buttery. We ordered two sides cauliflower gratin and chips. Both lovely. I had the milk chocolate tart for dessert and again a little underwhelmed. I expected a nice chocolate taste but the flavour was more a burned caramel flavour. The texture was amazing though and again as smooth as silk. I would definitely go back again and would try something different on the menu.

10/03/2024: We’re regular visitors to this gem of a restaurant in Kilkenny . Hands down my favourite “go to” in the country . Seasonal , excellently cooked & never disappointing menu . Small front of house team that executes to perfection .

04/04/2024: Nice jolly family vibe. Real croissants which break and taste in the mouth like croissants should but generally don't. Good coffee, water genuinely infused with mint leaves. A cafe as it should be .
