Langton's in Kilkenny

We had our wedding in Langtons on the 20th of June 2026. We are so happy we chose to get married here!! The staff here at Langtons especially Sean, Louise and Susie who made the whole experience so lovely and positive. They were always available to answer any questions we had in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. We got married in the Set Theatre and had our reception in the ballroom and our friends and family commented on how excellent the service was and how stunning the food was and that the location was perfect for everyone. Plenty of people said the slow cooked beef was the best beef they had ever had! We had our day 2 in Bridies and the staff were incredible. It was a hot day and they must have made 200 strawberry daiquiris for our friends throughout the day! Apologies! We are so happy we chose Langtons as our venue and cannot wait to come down again! We had a wonderful visit to the Langstons Hotel last summer. The Hotel was beautiful, it was quiet, and the rooms were very stately. The staff was very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. The location is perfect because it is walkable and you are right down the street from everything. We would definitely stay here again!

We have had many wonderful stays here in Ireland. We love the people. This hotel however, was not our favorite. The first night we were in an amazing room - room 74, but there was a sewage smell and the bathroom sink would not drain. They had us stay there for one night (we opened the windows). They took a few dollars off our bill and the next day they moved us to a smaller room way out back. I felt like I was on someone's back porch. When arranging this hotel, we got an email offering to pre-arrange a four-course meal. So we did this and paid for it in advance. When we got to the restaurant last night, they didn't seem to know what that was. So one hand isn't talking to the other and they are not giving out clear information. We also got a phone call today to say that the four course meal didn't cover our drinks. The waitress had told us drinks were part of it. So we were confused. In general, beautiful hotel, close to things in town, but we won't stay there again. The staff working in the restaurants are lovely. The folks at the front desk are also lovely. Somewhere in management there is a lack of communication. We loved Kilkenny but the hotel situation was not the best. We would choose a different hotel.

Lovely room in the garden suite. Delicious breakfast, excellent parking behind the hotel. We had a relaxing one-night stay with our child. Thank you!

I have been a regular visitor to Langton’s for at least 20 years. This was the very first time I had stayed in the hotel. I had a room in the garden. The room was superb with a huge bed and first class linen. The staff were super friendly and most helpful. I also managed to get the room at an excellent rate.
