Best sandwich in Kilkenny in my opinion, we go there anytime we get into Kilkenny . Authentic, quality ingredients , big list of choice of sandwich , they also do other yum Italian savoury treats as well as top quality coffee

Absolutely delicious! One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Fresh ingredients, packed with flavour, and made with real care. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Kilkenny!

HOW has it taken me so long to try this place? Absolutely INCREDIBLE sandwich!! The quality of the ingredients is absolutely unmatched, the portions are gargantuan, and the authentic Italian flavor transports your senses across the sea, to a sun-drenched Mediterranean café in the south of Italy. I had the Parma on focaccia and it was pure heaven. I can't wait to go back to try something new. Do yourself a favor and try their tiramisu and cannoli as well, especially on a hot summer day, that cool creaminess is otherworldly. I will be back very soon and I will be reccomending this place to everyone I know.

Delicious sandwiches and friendly service

This was my first time visiting this Deli. It’s unbelievable the sandwich and the coffees we got were high quality and really fresh. We also got the Tiramisu and it was delicious! Couldn’t recommend this enough. We will be back…

Great selection of products and they're always friendly people

La Bottega is more than an Italian bakery and take away coffee place in Kilkenny. For me, it is a little corner of Italy, a warm and familiar place where the smell of coffee, bread, and sweet things makes everything feel softer. It is owned by Giuseppe and Anita, a lovely couple from Sicily, who over time have become much more than the people behind the counter. They are now great friends, part of our life here, and part of the reason Kilkenny feels more like home. For someone like me, who no longer lives in Italy, La Bottega carries something deeply comforting. It reminds me of home, of the language, the warmth, the simple pleasure of stopping for coffee and feeling understood without needing to explain too much. Giuseppe’s sandwiches are the best in town, Anita’s tiramisu and cheesecakes are simply delicious made of genuine ingredients. You will always find pizza and bread freshly made. That is why La Bottega will always be more than a bakery to me. It is friendship, love, memory, and belonging. It is a place where my life in Ireland and my heart in Italy meet.

Excellent quality sandwiches for a good price. Ingredients are clearly of a high standard. Service is very friendly and approachable.
