I can’t praise Lenehans enough! The owner, Michael, was amazing and made us feel right at home. We stopped in on a whim on the way to Dublin for lunch, and he made us glad we did. Between the fabulous food, the whiskey tasting, and the good vibes all around. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you Michael!!!

A great bar just outside Kilkenny town centre with tasty food, reasonably priced, creamy pints and most importantly, well trained, well mannered, friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Wow, what a find! We popped into Lenehans for a quick bite and were blown away from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by Helen, who set the tone for the visit perfectly, exceptionally welcoming and professional. As for the food, I can honestly say I have never been so satisfied by bar food in my life. We ordered two Chicken Curries and a Chicken Fillet Burger, and every plate was a winner. The quality of the ingredients, the flavor profile, and the generous portion sizes were all absolutely divine. The service was equally impressive; our waiter was incredibly attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Pair all of that with a great atmosphere and a perfectly poured, creamy glass of Guinness, and you have a new favorite spot. I genuinely cannot wait to visit again. Just a heads up: it’s a popular, busy spot, so I’d highly recommend calling ahead to book a table. I already can’t wait for my next visit! Highly recommended! ⭐️

A quiet night but loved speaking to Eddie the Barman. Im from Wales and just loved speaking sport to him. Clearly a pro barman as his knowledge of all sport was first class. Give that man a raise.

Great find will deff return , food was increadably good

I visited Lenehans Public House over the Christmas period. It’s conveniently located near McDonagh Junction. Service was prompt, staff were friendly, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The only drawback was seating for our party of four, as we didn’t have a reservation and the venue was very busy, so we only stayed for one drink before moving on. That said, it’s understandable given the time of year.
