Petronella in Kilkenny

From beginning to end, this was an experience for the senses. Every detail, every morsel, every sip was superb. I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I shared the chowder, sea bass, strip loin steak and cream brulee with Irish coffees and had to end the night there because it could not possibly get any better. Thank you Petronella 🖤

Wow! What a find! Had the most amazing experience, the food and wine were delicious and the service exceptional. My partner and I have both said we would return to Kilkenny (from Swansea) just to go to this restaurant again. Highly recommend

Really enjoy our Sunday evening dining experience here. Gorgeous atmosphere and the staff are excellent.

Beautiful restaurant and amazing food, I'd recommend the short rib as it was unreal. Staff are very attentive and welcoming. 5⭐ if I could.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. Staff were friendly & helpful, vibes were good, decor fab, loved the food ... I highly recommend this place

Amazing dinner! On day 8 of our 10 day (first time) self-guided, tour of Ireland, this has been our best dinner! Collectively, the food AND staff were top tier. 🙌 Husband had braised short rib and I had the Sea Bass. Both incredible, and a wonderful meal to celebrate a 30 year anniversary, from a couple from the States (the sunshine state of Florida).

So accommodating to our littles. The atmosphere is romantic yet spooky. The is food terrific. Service top notch. Such a good location with fascinating history.

Exceptional food! Amazing vegan cauliflower and chips that taste so amazing and so crispy! Would recommend to all!

Stunning little place with excellent staff and a fabulous menu!! The sea bass was one of the best dishes I've had in a while! Definitely recommend if your in the area. Fabulous 👌

Would highly recommend food and service was fantastic! Lovely atmosphere in the heart of Kilkenny.
