Cafe La Coco in Kilkenny

Take away is fast but please don't roll your eyes when I say I wanna go in to see which cakes I wanna take away.

I ordered a cappuccino and a slice of cheese cake ☕️ 🍰. It was AMAZING. I have never try a cheesecake like this and the service was amazing. The only reason why i not rank the place as 5 start is because the cappuccino mug was small. besides that amazing everything

I stopped by La Coco while visiting Kilkenny on a day tour from Dublin and was looking for a place to grab lunch. This place did not disappoint! I would recommend it to anyone, whether you’re visiting for the day or live in the area. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick, which was perfect since I was on a tour with limited time. I ordered the hibiscus and lime refresher, which was incredibly refreshing on a warm day, along with the Hey Avo sourdough sandwich with avocado, roasted garlic, La Coco house pesto, mayo, microgreens, and Parmesan. It was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, I wish this restaurant existed in New York City because I could easily see it becoming one of my favorite lunch spots. If you’re spending time in Kilkenny and are looking for a great brunch or lunch, I highly recommend stopping here!

I enjoyed the light fare here. I had the chicken and bacon sandwich (€13.90), while my husband went for the avocado sandwich. My prosecco (€10) came served in its own bottle, ensuring fresh bubbles — a nice touch I really appreciated. Service was prompt and friendly, and the café has a trendy, Instagrammable vibe. We visited on Friday, 17 July 2026.

Had Halloumi salad and blueberry banana pancake…. Loved the food.
