The best restaurants in Kilkenny

15/05/2025: Stopped off here for lunch and had the soup combi. It was absolutely delicious. We had the leak and potato soup with a cheese and ham sandwich ( opted not to have a toastie). The soup was hot and delicious and the sandwich was so fresh with plenty of filling. The coffee was great as well

07/05/2025: It was suggested by staff at Information Centre to have a meal and coffee at Christy's. We were served by Aisling who helped us set up table outside then explained what a Boxty was and that we should try one. I purchased the Lunchtime Boxty and it has to be one of the best meals I have had. The coffee was excellent as well. Service was excellent and Hugh explaining the best way to get to Clifden topped the whole experience off. Fantastic lunch and a great experience

22/03/2025: Lo siento, pero nunca en mis 64 años me he conocido como camarera de bar grosera y confrontada. En ningún momento nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos, dada la ubicación en Kilkenny que cabría esperar mejor, saludos al músico, buen trabajo.

12/05/2025: Rimu had the Louie Club sandwich and it was a delicious adventure. 100% recommend please. Rimu was able to enjoy the meal despite a long staring contest with a local dog 🐶

04/05/2025: Last year we came for brunch and was buzzing and food was fantastic. This year was very disappointed. Front of house staff were friendly but the food took ages and my eggs benedict was almost cold, egg weren’t runny. They changed it without issue, but was waiting another half an hour, my husband was well finished his by time it arrived. His was also disappointing … half a sausage

24/05/2025: El gerente nos apretó en un sábado por la noche muy ocupado. Grazie. Deliciosa pizza de corteza masticable (pruebe la nduja picante) y una pasta amatriciana robustamente salsada (pida más al dente). Y precios decentes para los estándares actuales. Una pizza muy llena y un plato de pasta y una botella de pinot grigio rondaba los 60 euros.

18/05/2025: Usamos La Rivista para una fiesta familiar y fue súper sabroso y delicioso. A todos los huéspedes les encantó la comida. Los recomendaría encarecidamente

14/05/2025: Tengo una hamburguesa para llevar llamada queso, por favor. Lo esperaba todo el día sin descanso para hacer espacio. Lo estaba comiendo en la estación de tren a 5 minutos. Un montón de salsa sin queso o tan poco que no podía probarlo o verlo jajaja. Llamé y la chica dijo que el cocinero dijo que se lo puso. Entonces dijeron que debía haberse derretido. Si tardó 5 minutos en derretirse a inexistente en la hamburguesa que era 12. 95 euros. Me pareció gracioso que se llamara queso, por favor, ya que había poco o nada. De todos modos muy decepcionado, ¿podrías ponerte un poco de queso para justificar el nombre de queso, por favor, ya que no podía ver o probar el queso ahumado que decían que estaba allí? No tendrás prisa por volver a 13 euros por una hamburguesa sola. Katherine Darby flynn. 🍔😒

04/05/2025: The food is excellent but a little pricey, I mainly get the supernova burger, which is a meal in itself, and the brownies and ice creams are to die for! Popular with young families. Almost free delivery so great value for a single person. The app is good for deals and perks, it would be great if they could integrate deliveries into the app. Have eaten in a few times lately and I have to say the service is fast and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Their chef's are very good, I've never had a bad meal from here.

06/04/2025: We don't get to Kilkenny often, but when we do, we like to finish with Sunday lunch at Campagne. Today's lunch was simply spectacular - I think the best ever. Every dish was delightful. Firstly, very attractive on the eye, and secondly, simply delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Two lovely glasses of wine. A lovely relaxed Sunday lunch. Very Highly Recommended.

06/04/2025: ES un restaurante de alta gama, tiene un ambiente tranquilo encantador, poca iluminación y las mesas no están abarrotadas juntas. La comida es fantástica, el servicio impecable. No es barato. Si quieres una experiencia excepcional y un placer, ¡esto es todo!

01/05/2025: The food was delish! One of the top 3 meals during our week in Ireland. We would definitely eat here again:D We had the focaccia, the baby potatoes, roast carrots, & the trout for dinner. Great service, James was attentive and was a great conversationalist. We loved everything we ordered, so just had to try their sticky toffee pudding, again one of the top 3 desserts we had during our week in Ireland:D Can't wait to come back and eat here again on our next trip!

17/04/2025: Hace poco cumplí 30 años en el hotel Pembroke. No podía recomendarlo lo suficiente - el personal fue extremadamente servicial desde el principio, especialmente Alicia. En la noche, todo funcionó perfectamente - la comida, bebidas y el servicio eran todos fabulosos. ¡Ninguna pregunta era demasiado grande! El espacio también tiene una zona para un DJ, que realmente se sumó a la noche! Servicio 10/10 y un gran lugar. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

03/05/2025: Stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend, delighted with all aspects of it. Clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and coffee, and a laid-back bar atmosphere which was a perfect for some pints and food.
