River Court Hotel in Kilkenny

Stayed here for my 30th with the girlfriend, we stayed in a townhouse room, these are located right next to the busy street directly accross 2 busy bars, very loud at night hard to get a sleep for the 3 nights we were there, The walls/glass is very thin and cannot open windows as it is loud enough as it was so room was very uncomfortable espcially at night, cars going up and down revving all night blaring music and people laying up against your bedroom window at night is unacceptable, not a whole lot the hotel can do on this matter but i would still avoid the townhouse rooms alot nicer out there for alot cheaper, the townhouse rooms are very loud at night with music, drunk people outside, cars be aware, Staff are very friendly and breakfast is nice, parking is decent, other areas of the hotel would be alot nicer to stay in i feel

4th time there a lovely hotel, hotel is all ways cosy your room is lovely and warm it's nice having a beer on the decking at the river looking at the castle and in walking distance to everything park the car up and enjoy.

Incredible receptionists really added to the experience, they went out of their way to accommodate my medical and personal needs. They are a credit to the Rivercourt Hotel. Highly recommended staying here. The rooms were spotless, beds were very spacious and comfortable.

Very friendly staff, hearty breakfast. The only problem and not least the noise. In the room we hear the doors slammed constantly... the water flowing depending on use of the other rooms. It's a shame because the hotel is very well located.

Nice hotel....the location cannot be beat. It was right on the same street as all of the best bars to try....Sullivan's Brewing Company (unbelievable grounds, beer selection, flights, and food - wings and pizza were delicious, too), Dylan's (small place with great music - authentic pub), Matt The Millers (great food and live music) and the wildest time at An Poc Fada....Best singing duo - had everyone singing and up dancing, great place !!! Very picturesque hotel on the river with a beautiful view of Kilkenny Cadtle !!!!

It's just a lovely place. Room very clean and a fab breakfast. Staff are so nice and very efficient.

Fantastic service, friendly staff who do their absolute best for the guests. Nice atmosphere, and an absolutely incredible location. Delicious breakfast. My absolute favorite hotel in Kilkenny!

Fantastic location to visit everything. Pubs galore on our doorstop The food was quality and the attention to detail was amazing and the very friendly staff couldn't do any thing more to accommodate us. Bedrooms were comfy and spacious with enough wardrobe space for us

Absolutely fantastic hotel brilliant staff and great location 1st time here but definitely not my last If Google had 10 stars 🌟 they would definitely get them

No swimming pool only disappointment
