Lanigans Bar in Kilkenny

We stayed in the accommodation and there was 5 of us in one room and it was not comfortable, great place for a stag or hen but you wouldn't want to be claustrophobic, the accommodation was behind the pub and you went over to the pub for food , the breakfast in the morning was very slow . The girls working there were very nice to deal with. It in a good location for the rest of Kilkenny

Service was fast and food was good. I have ordered a sandwich and it came together with the salad 🥗. Food served only at the first floor so you need to go upstairs.

We ate there for lunch, without a reservation. The dishes are classic: fish and chips, soup, burgers, sharing platters with drinks... One small negative point: the numerous pieces of chewing gum stuck under the counter, which are clearly visible when you're sitting at the table next to it.

Good bar to go in the evening for live entertainment

Great Food, and even greater customer service! I had the ribs and wings and they were a treat! Our waiter was really great :) all in all, I recommend!

I've visited this pub several times, for drinks and food. The decor is nice, the food is good with several pub classics. There's a huge screen for showing matches, and live music with sound well-balanced for the size of the room.
