We ate there for lunch, without a reservation. The dishes are classic: fish and chips, soup, burgers, sharing platters with drinks... One small negative point: the numerous pieces of chewing gum stuck under the counter, which are clearly visible when you're sitting at the table next to it.

I've visited this pub several times, for drinks and food. The decor is nice, the food is good with several pub classics. There's a huge screen for showing matches, and live music with sound well-balanced for the size of the room.

We originally came for a pizza for two, but ended up being tempted by their cottage pie. A generous portion for only €10 and absolutely delicious. The dessert was just as good. Bonus points for the playlist!

06/05/2026: A very good pub/restaurant; we had burgers. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it if you're in the area.
30/04/2026: Lovely spot opposite the train station in kilkenny. The main bar and outside areas are beautiful and very clean stopped for a coffee and scone the female bar tender was really friendly and very efficient. Would highly recommend and will be calling back the next time we are in Kilkenny.

09/04/2026: We were at the Pub during our trip through Ireland it was a very great Guinness we got here. The owner is also very very friendly. Must Visit when you are in Kilkenny.
