Chill spot to have a drink and eat some delicious food. Had an excellent vegan falafel wrap. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. Great staff. Would happily visit again. Oh they make an awesome hand tossed margarita pizza 🍕 😋

Stayed here for a week. Breakfast was fantastic every day. Staff were all pleasant enough. A special shout out to Zara who went above and beyond every day for us. If you’re staying here, I would reccomend ear plugs, as the windows aren’t the thickest. You can literally hear everything outside. But location is great, car park behind for €5 a day.

We had a great evening at Billy Byrne's in the snug room for our stag party. They were more than accommodating and went above and beyond with the service. Definitely recommend stopping in here if you are in Kilkenny. Staff are great and the food was amazing.

Lovely spot opposite the train station in kilkenny. The main bar and outside areas are beautiful and very clean stopped for a coffee and scone the female bar tender was really friendly and very efficient. Would highly recommend and will be calling back the next time we are in Kilkenny.

I have been a regular visitor to Billy Byrnes Bar in Kilkenny for ten years. It is one of my favourite bars in the wonderful city of Kilkenny. It is without doubt the coolest and hipest bar in Kilkenny. The staff are amazing and super helpful the food is great and excellent value for money.

Lanigans Bar

19/05/2026: We stayed in the accommodation and there was 5 of us in one room and it was not comfortable, great place for a stag or hen but you wouldn't want to be claustrophobic, the accommodation was behind the pub and you went over to the pub for food , the breakfast in the morning was very slow . The girls working there were very nice to deal with. It in a good location for the rest of Kilkenny
