Didn't eat here, but amazing nostalgia. Talked with Syd, the owner, and couldn't be friendlier. Even stayed in the rooms above for a night. Definitely worth a stop.

Best whiskey collection and very knowledgeable owner ! If you like whiskey and want to learn more or try great whiskeys you must go !(According to my hubby.) I’m not a whiskey drinker. LOL. And they have gin and tonic too.

Such a gem of a pub in the heart of Kilkenny. Met the owner he was so friendly and had stories to tell. The pub is the official oldest in the city. I highly recommend you come in for a visit.
