16/10/2024: The #10 sandwich was delicious!

27/09/2024: We had a beast of a sandwich with pork, peppers, onions and relish. It was huge and tasty. Coffee also good. We'll definitely go back!

12/11/2024: Was told there would be a 25-minute wait but we told them we would wait. It was nowhere near that long of a wait and when we got in, it was clear that they were just spacing out the entries. We got the veggie fajitas and the smoky burger. The frizzled onions were very tasty. My order was mixed up which resulted in me getting my food when the person with me had finished theirs but otherwise decent pub grub style food with large portions. Probably a better atmosphere at night time.

06/11/2024: Very nice but sadly, the open area at the back (where you can smoke), is closed during the day so we had to sit out on the street which wasn't very comfortable

25/10/2024: We were lucky that they accommodated our group of 5. The pasta was just like my mom would make. The burger was delicious as well. Highly recommend!

04/04/2024: Half a year ago, we came for coffee, everything was fine, we know this café, it's our favorite place, but one barista told us that we couldn't have our ice cream with it, after which we stayed to finish our coffee, she approached again and reiterated that ice cream wasn't allowed, we asked for takeaway cups and left. A couple of days ago, we returned to this café and the barista recognized us and said she wouldn't serve us, reminding us of the ice cream situation. We were shocked, of course, and said we weren't going to eat our ice cream now, to which she repeated that she wouldn't serve us. It was a very unpleasant situation, as we came during a different shift and everything was fine. If she had just said, "Please, let's just skip the ice cream this time," and turned it into a joke, everyone would have been fine with it. Instead, we thought, what kind of person must you be to remember an ice cream incident for half a year. We wish this establishment had better staff, like the other girl who works there and is always kind to everyone. With such delicious coffee, this place deserves the best employees and customer service.

29/03/2024: Such a lovely friendly spot for coffees, sweet treats and brunch - had the vegan mushroom & edamame hummus focaccia sandwich which was really delish 😊 will definitely return when next in Kilkenny!

05/10/2024: Breakfast was nice. But we were charged 2.70 per pot of tea. We were under the impression tea was free as the staff asked if we wanted the tea pots topped up. We were then charged per top up. 6 breakfasts and 6 pots of tea. Costing 16.20 for tea alone

08/10/2024: The restaurant there had really good food. The Tempura prawns were exquisite as was their seafood chowder. The Apple Cinnamon crisp was scrumptious. Highly recommended.it 🇺🇸☘️
