10/03/2025: Good bar with probably the largest selection of craft beers in the town. They often have live music on.

19/11/2024: Visited this bar with a friend and her pet dog. Staff member was very friendly and gave us bowl of water for dog. The atmosphere was quiet and cosy, with music playing in background. Ordered the buffalo burger, very tasty, plenty of buffalo sauce and piping hot. Friendly also got small bowl of plain chicken for her dog. I would recommend this bar for dog owners.

20/03/2025: Pub and Restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere. Excellent food and drinks with good service. Highly recommended.

16/03/2025: We just celebrated our engagement party at Paris Texas. I couldn't fault it in anyway. Brian from the start, was excellent, accommodating to all request, eg. Vegan plate and changes to party food menu. Not once did I have to ask for anything as he was there already asking me himself. Amazing staff, food was out in now time and all was cleared very quickly to get people ready for a cake, again it went so smoothly, didn't even notice how quick all was. Brian thank you very much and you were a pleasure. The wonderful bar man, Noah lovely lovely boy. He is a credit to paris texas, amazing assest to your team. Pleasure to deal with him all night! There was a girl looking after us and help us to set up at the start and she was also perfect. Thank you very much too all the team and chefs for incredible night filled with lovely food. 04/02/2025: I come here regularly! The staff are very kind, and the store has a nice selection of Asian and Japanese ingredients. Also You can buy fresh fish!! Highly recommended!

22/01/2025: Unfortunately, the shop had an unpleasant odor. I intended to purchase some lamb and chicken, but the smell was overwhelming, and I had to leave. I hope a solution can be found to address this issue.

02/01/2025: Quaint, cosy tea rooms/bar in kilkenny, very central and atmospheric on a wet morning! Staff were very friendly and great service!

06/12/2024: The blueberry banana porridge scone was very moist and packed full fiber. The sausage roll was flakey and tasted good. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. No toilet.

04/02/2025: Had a brilliant time here with small children. Fantastic fun for families. Hotel can be busy with small children and families. Booking is required for the pool, dining and dinosaur bounce in the Dino Park. Food was very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff from room service to bar men, reception and dining staff were all extremely helpful. Hope to return soon

04/02/2025: Downgraded from our booked suite due to it "being on an adult only floor of the hotel" (the website states this nowhere), still charged the suite price though for a family double!? Food is below average, do yourself a favor and skip breakfast. A child vomited in the pool beside us and no attempt was made by staff to clean it up, I felt sorry for others who didn't witness it but then jumped headfirst into it :( Pool / spa are awful dirty, none of the changing room locker doors work. If you like well worn you'll be happy out. We won't be back.

19/01/2025: AMAZING STOUT!!!!!Lovely pub was in it last week.. the Guinness is 10/10, you could eat it with a fork.. met an old man called Cyril at the bar a blocklayer by trade and he was a gentleman to talk to. Another man had his cockapoo sitting beside him at the bar and such a well trained dog.lovely to see and all the customers knew this dog by name “dink” a local celebrity by all accounts.. definitely be back for that pint of absolute cream and the homeliness felt at the bar!!

08/03/2025: Comemos aquí con la familia. La comida, el personal y la decoración era fantástico. Era una noche tranquila de domingo, así que tuvieron tiempo para estar atentos, y ciertamente lo estaban. Las porciones , pasta , pizza y en mi caso deliciosos Raviolis de Espinacas (regados con un rojo de casa muy agradable ) eran más que adecuados. Mis nietos optaron por llevar las pizzas y esto no fue un problema para ellos. La cuenta era muy razonable para un partido de seis y sin duda volveré en mi próxima visita a KK. ¡Grazie!

20/02/2025: Servicio sin la sonrisa. Cuatro de nosotros decidimos espontáneamente salir a cenar el miércoles por la noche. Italian Connection fue acordado y otros sugeridos en el caso de no poder conseguir una mesa sin reserva. Al entrar en el restaurante nos encontramos con un miembro del personal de marca que supuse por el acento era italiano. Pregunté si era posible conseguir una mesa para cuatro... .. así que aquí es donde comienza la comunicación de una sílaba... ¿reserva? A lo que respondí que no, siento que haya sido una decisión espontánea. ¡Señaló la mesa y declaró allí! Durante toda la noche nos sirvieron simplemente comida y bebidas... ¡Tuve que pedir un menú de bebidas! En ningún momento preguntamos si todo estaba bien. Sin compromiso sin despedida sin gracias. Simplemente grosero y no quería estar allí desde mi perspectiva. La comida era hermosa y disfrutamos de la comida, pero este tipo necesita mejorar su habilidad o elegir una carrera en un entorno no orientado al cliente. He organizado fiestas navideñas de oficina antes en este restaurante y el personal era encantador e incluso contemplé tener a mis hijos confirmación aquí en abril para 32 asientos. Ahora me alegro de haberle permitido su elección de restaurante con familia como si este fuera el servicio que me prestaron me horrorizaría. Afortunadamente, la joven en la caja era cálida y agradable y mi marido dio propinas basadas en sus modales agradables. El otro caballero ni siquiera dijo gracias o adiós. Me temo que no es lo suficientemente bueno en el mercado actual.

24/03/2025: Michael is an amazing bartender and an even better story teller and singer. Very friendly and welcoming. It's an amazing bar and I'll definitely be visiting again

23/09/2024: Fui aquí a cenar y tomé sopa del día que era de puerro y patatas y para principal tuve pollo. No se molestó con el postre. Realmente disfruté de la comida. El personal es encantador. El servicio es rápido y el lugar está muy limpio. También hay un ambiente relajante encantador allí. Está a solo unos minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Kilkenny. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera y volvería a ir de nuevo.

15/01/2025: Our absolute favourite coffee and bookshop! I just adore this place. Marian is always so warm and welcoming, it's the perfect atmosphere to enjoy your tea or coffee, a slice of cake, all while being surrounded by books and the music playing in the background is always fabulous too It’s truly my dream spot made even better by the fact that our dogs are always welcome too. This store really is a hidden gem, and we try to visit as often as possible (though it’s never enough!). If you're looking for a cozy, inviting place to relax, unwind, and enjoy great books, coffee, and cakes, this is the place to go!
