29/09/2026: Wow, what a gem in Kilkenny! We shared an Irish stew which comes with a delicious buttery mash, fresh baked brown bread (it’s heavy but absolutely delicious ) and an order of chips. We absolutely loved the meal, couldn’t fault it, and incredible service!

17/06/2026: Bollards is our favorite pub in Kilkenny. This was our 3rd time to Kilkenny and we stop in here every time for pints, food, sessions, and overall great craic. Cheers to Damien who was our bartender and took great care of us. We enjoyed chatting with him and a few other locals. It feels like a home away from home. Can’t wait to come back soon!

03/10/2026: Great Mexican Food, especially the Burritos are remarkably good. We went there on our first visit of Kilkenny and now have been equally pleased at our 2nd visit. You can configure your own burrito, choosing from a wide range of options and the staff is really friendly and helpful in the process. We actually had a great chat, while doing so. Price is also adequate for the amount of food you get. Can only recommend, if you like Mexican food.

26/09/2026: We’ve eaten at another location before. But in this location, one of the servers went out of his way to not cooperate with us and made a terrible burrito bowl.

26/07/2026: We came across this whiskey bar by chance, we were lured by the live music that emanated from it and they really made our evening. Thank you for the incredible music, great selection of whiskey, and if you are interested in cocktails, then the bar next door (in the same building) will help with this. Musicians - respect

04/08/2026: We stayed here for 4 nights during our time in Ireland and it is a very special place. You can tell that it's family run - staff is warm and inviting, and the charm of the original building from the 1800s is still very much alive. Breakfast was included at the restaurant Lil's, and the quality and quantity of options that were made to order were exceptional (full Irish breakfast, pancakes, waffles, porridge, etc).

31/05/2026: My daughter and I recently stayed at Avalon House Hotel and from the moment we walked through the door we felt so welcomed by Miriana. The Hotel is such a lovely place to stay. The rooms are immaculate and very clean. The dinner in the bar was sooo good and all the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially John who made our day :) Breakfast was really good too. It's easy to park and it's such a short drive into Kilkenny. I only wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again.

19/05/2026: We stayed in the accommodation and there was 5 of us in one room and it was not comfortable, great place for a stag or hen but you wouldn't want to be claustrophobic, the accommodation was behind the pub and you went over to the pub for food , the breakfast in the morning was very slow . The girls working there were very nice to deal with. It in a good location for the rest of Kilkenny

24/08/2026: 13€ for heated fries and 3 tiny wings feels like a steal to me. But anyway, service was nice and fast.

15/07/2026: I am only in kilkenny 4 times maximum a year. That is for holiday. I ordered a strawberry milkshake to take away and it took them 20 minutes to get it. An absolute disgrace and I am a wheelchair user and I lost my taxi who had to come in and tell me to pay them because he was after getting a call and had to leave. I can say one thing for sure I will never be going back there again and if you are in a rush dont go in there. Best of luck

15/09/2026: So scrumptious! The duck nimboo was so refreshing and paired really nicely with the bhuna.

05/09/2026: We ate at Indique late on Friday night about an hour before closing. There was only 1 other couple in the restaurant but the atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff were welcoming and polite, poppadoms were fresh, and the main dishes (including Pilau Rice and Garlic naan) were gorgeous and flavorsome. The lamb and chicken were so tender. We have eaten in Indian restaurants across Ireland and in India and Indique did not disappoint. I have been talking about the food since we left and I can't wait to go back. I would recommend to anyone!

06/09/2026: Really delicious döner kebab. We came out of the pub at 9:30 pm looking for a spice bag and overshot the Chinese restaurant and found ourselves here. Ny wife said "Look it's döner kebab!" She's German and we've both had lots of döners in Germany so we were excited to try it and it turned out better than most of the ones we had over there! Fresh and delicious ingredients, a nice kick with the sharp sauce, the white sauce was light and refreshing, and the service was awesome. You guys rock.

21/08/2026: Stopped in for a quick lunch and was so pleasantly surprised! The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Beautiful bar and immaculate bathrooms too!
