22/04/2025: Astonishing experience with our infant, in a place for books and coffee. Warm, kind, and lovely readers there. We enjoyed the hot chocolate, the delicious caroot cake and and the hospitality of the owner and the people with in. Highly recommend.

10/04/2025: What an absolute gem to find in an already beautiful city! The atmosphere is delightful, food and drink amazing and my husband absolutely fell in love with the owner of the shop. She was welcoming, warm and simply delightfully ☺️ Couldn’t recommend more highly!

18/07/2025: Very Disappointed with Customer Service I went to the customer service desk with my mum today. She had an item to return, and I had some groceries to buy. I clearly explained to the staff member that my mum wanted to return an item, and I would then be making a separate grocery purchase. Instead of processing a return as requested, the staff member did an exchange without asking. Because of this, I was unable to use my voucher, which was very frustrating. When I tried to explain the issue, she kept rolling her eyes and said there was “no way to go back” because the items were already scanned. This was incredibly rude and unprofessional behavior. We made a simple request — a return and a separate purchase — and it was handled with attitude and carelessness. Only after I insisted did she finally call someone to help her fix the issue. Extremely disappointing service.

11/07/2025: I recently stayed at this hotel. I stayed for a wedding in March and had to come back with my son, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! The staff are absolutely amazing—so polite and welcoming that you feel right at home from the moment you step in. If you have children, this is the perfect spot for a family vacation. The kids club runs from 10:00 AM to 10:45 PM daily, offering a fantastic range of activities to keep the little ones entertained all day long. My kids had a blast and couldn't wait to go back each day. One of the highlights of our stay was Jurassic NewPark. It's an incredible area featuring life-sized dinosaurs, a magical fairy walk, friendly animals, and even a massive jump area that the kids couldn’t get enough of. It’s a must-visit if you’re staying here. Breakfast was a delight, especially with the new waffle pancake station. My child absolutely loved making their own creations each morning. Plus, the surprise appearance of the Dino mascot during breakfast added an extra touch of fun to start the day. As for the food in the restaurant, it’s top-notch. Every meal was delicious, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Whether you're dining with kids or having a more adult-focused meal, the quality and presentation are outstanding. I almost forgot the infinity pool and indoor pool with a jacuzzi and plung pool. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for families. We had such a memorable experience, and we’ll definitely be returning!

03/07/2025: What an epic little café nestled into the medieval Kilkenny streets. The staff are super friendly, helpful and obliging. I love to pop in whenever I'm down in Kilkenny for some tea and a fancy pants coffee buzz. I've actually never eaten here but I've tried their CBD pecan pie, which is delish 😋 One downside is cash only, but I make sure to have some cash on me when in the city especially for Little Collins.

18/06/2025: I recently stayed at the River Court Hotel and had a really lovely experience. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. Most of all, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating,friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. A great central location and a warm welcome made it a memorable stay. Highly recommend!

17/06/2025: An absolute pleasure to stay, so welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect as one of our friends hurt her leg beforehand. Have to mention Phil, a great ambassador for the hotel. She was so nice and friendly. Lovely to meet her.

16/06/2025: Great place so nice and clean. Just taken aback with the price of a sandwich Asked for sausage and egg brown bread sandwich. Charged €6.25 which is expensive in my eyes for a sandwich

12/07/2025: Ate here recently as I have many times before and as far as Kilkenny Restaurants go it's one of the best. Food is delicious. Priced very well and always very accommodating with tables even when it's busy they will try to fit you in for an hour and a half or so. Staff are very friendly. Great Restaurant. Would recommend to anyone looking to eat out in Kilkenny 👍

25/05/2025: I loved the Salmon, it was perfectly cooked, the whole plate was delicious. Also we tried the avocado toast, Fantastic. For desserts the pancakes and the panacota were amazing, great flavour. Really we enjoyed it so much, thank you!

18/04/2025: The food was alright, but was a bit pricey and took far too long to be sent out, to the point it was cold. The vibe was great but not amazing, still good. Not sure if id recommend, but it's decent food.

30/06/2025: Mid afternoon meal after a visit to Kilkenny Castle, enjoying Turkish kebabs and donner. The chicken was tender and especially nice with the side garnish. The fried bread was well made.

23/07/2025: Only went to the pub for food and drink. No overnight stay. The food was nice and the prices did match the quality and serving sizes. Fast and friendly service, even if some questions could not be Answered right away,but right after reconfirming with the kitchen of another staff member. We had no luck with the band. The quality of the performance was not what we expected and far too loud. You could hardly understand a word at your own table. A pity. Otherwise a nice place for a drink or a meal.

21/07/2025: A typical Irish pub in the very center of the city. If you want to feel the characteristic Irish spirit and atmosphere, then this is the place for you. The owner of the pub-VV Gerry will personally meet you and settle you in, and in the morning he will offer you a freshly prepared typical breakfast ) You will also be offered a delicious lunch. From fish and chips .... and to the standard ... The rooms are clean and cozy. There is everything you need. On Friday and Saturday, though, it is a little noisy, but this is an opportunity to feel the Irish atmosphere, listen to music and drink a beer in the pub downstairs))) So, if you want to fully feel Ireland, then here 👍🍀

23/09/2024: Fui aquí a cenar y tomé sopa del día que era de puerro y patatas y para principal tuve pollo. No se molestó con el postre. Realmente disfruté de la comida. El personal es encantador. El servicio es rápido y el lugar está muy limpio. También hay un ambiente relajante encantador allí. Está a solo unos minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Kilkenny. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera y volvería a ir de nuevo.

13/07/2025: Pedí una pizza a domicilio con ajo fresco, albahaca, queso, un chorrito de balsámico, jamón, pimientos y tomates y pagué 21 €. Desafortunadamente, a la pizza que recibí le faltaba queso, ajo fresco, albahaca y un chorrito de balsámico. En cambio, tenía salsa de ajo por todas partes, algo que no había pedido. Los ingredientes principales eran únicamente jamón, pimientos y tomates. Me decepcioné porque no recibí todos los ingredientes que pedí y pagué. Espero que esto pueda mejorarse en el futuro. En caso de duda, póngase en contacto con el cliente.
