27/02/2024: Wonderful bar, staff helpful and attentive, prices not to expensive, great selection of whiskies, table service available. BIG screen for sports.

01/04/2024: Stayed here for my 30th with the girlfriend, we stayed in a townhouse room, these are located right next to the busy street directly accross 2 busy bars, very loud at night hard to get a sleep for the 3 nights we were there, The walls/glass is very thin and cannot open windows as it is loud enough as it was so room was very uncomfortable espcially at night, cars going up and down revving all night blaring music and people laying up against your bedroom window at night is unacceptable, not a whole lot the hotel can do on this matter but i would still avoid the townhouse rooms alot nicer out there for alot cheaper, the townhouse rooms are very loud at night with music, drunk people outside, cars be aware, Staff are very friendly and breakfast is nice, parking is decent, other areas of the hotel would be alot nicer to stay in i feel

31/03/2024: 4th time there a lovely hotel, hotel is all ways cosy your room is lovely and warm it's nice having a beer on the decking at the river looking at the castle and in walking distance to everything park the car up and enjoy.

14/03/2024: Came with a group of five while they were busy, they went out of their way to move the tables together to get us seated. Beautiful food and the staff were amazing, especially Bryma. The music was a big plus too. Definitely recommend.

17/03/2024: Really cute little cafe! I love the vintage decor,really nice to see a unique cafe in Kilkenny We came for lunchtime and ordered the chips,caramel brownie,lemon drizzle scone and some tea’s The chips were lovely and fresh as well as the brownie but the scone I felt was a little stale like it was baked the day before or a couple days before,large variety of teas. Will definitely be back soon to try more!

06/01/2024: Love this place. Every time we travel from Dublin it's number 1 for us. Best food and drink in town. Lovely guy served us today. Shaharia recommended the red wine also. Lovely house cabernet sauvignon.

02/04/2024: We stayed good Fri till Easter Sunday and it was a pleasurable experience. Rooms where comfortable and spacious. Food was nice, staff where very friendly and helpful. When having breakfast on the Sunday the staff gave all the children an Easter egg which was a lovely gesture. The gym and pool where excellent for a morning work out and a swim with the grandkids . Will definitely be back .

28/03/2024: Really nice hotel in the center of Kilkenny. The location is walkable to all the spots. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable and spacious. The service of the hotel staff is excellent and it has nice facilities with the bar and leisure center. Breakfast was also really nice and clean. One are of feedback however was they should probably use real orange juice or at least concentrate. Orange squash wasnt really cutting it for me in the morning.

19/02/2024: I was so impressed by the kindness and hospitality in Kilkenny Design’e restaurant today I had to leave a review. I arrived at 2.20 on a Monday afternoon with a hungry, crying, tired 2 year old which is always very tense when our and about. The staff at the restaurant went to great lengths to be exceptionally kind with both of us, three staff went out of their way to help out with trays and gently ensure we were comfortable and I felt so welcomed. The food was really lovely, fresh and tasty and we were able to enjoy it all the more thanks to warmth of the staff that allowed my son to calm down. It was my first time back here in years and I will definitely be coming more often after such a rare experience of exceptional hospitality
