Spent an hour or so there last June. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly service, good food. One of my favorite stops in Ireland. Just a very comfortable place to be. A great place for quiet conversation of an afternoon.

We hosted a small wedding reception at Bridie’s Bar & General Store and had a wonderful experience. The food was provided by the Langston Hotel and was of excellent quality. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The interior decor is charming and stylish, and the back garden was incredibly functional and added a great atmosphere to the event. One of the highlights was being able to play our own music, which made the celebration feel very personal and joyful. Since it was a private event, we had exclusive use of the venue at no additional cost. Overall, it was a perfect setting for our wedding celebration, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and welcoming venue.

I wish I had more time to stay at this lovely cafe-pub-bakery-store. The decor is lovely. The staff was energetic and helpful. The space has an amazing vibe. We look forward to returning again on our next trip. Thank you

31/03/2026: I recently visited KFC with my teenage kids and ordered a variety party box, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. The box was supposed to include 10 pieces of chicken, but the selection felt very unbalanced, we ended up with mostly drumsticks (five), only four small pieces of chicken, and just one wing. It didn’t feel like great value or a fair mix. The gravy was another letdown. It was much more watery than usual and didn’t have the rich, thick consistency I’ve come to expect. It just wasn’t the same quality. The popcorn chicken also seemed like it had been sitting for a while it was only slightly warm and lacked the usual crispiness, which made it far less enjoyable. Overall, the food didn’t meet expectations, especially for a family meal. It’s disappointing when you’re looking forward to a treat and the quality just isn’t there. Hopefully this was just a one off, but it definitely put a damper on our visit.

24/07/2025: Absolutely blown away by the cake Quigley’s made for my wife’s birthday! It looked stunning, tasted incredible, and was a real showstopper at the party. Everyone was asking where we got it from and my wife couldn’t have been happier! What made it even better was how quick and easy their online ordering service was. Simple to navigate, great communication, and everything was ready exactly as promised. Massive thanks to the whole team at Quigley’s for making the day extra special. We’ll definitely be ordering again for the next occasion! 🎂👏
