The spices are excellent, much more aromatic than the spices you get in the supermarket. Cheaper too! And it's one of the two only places in town that sells mustard seeds. The butcher section is great, the chicken is probably the best I've ever had, juicy, moist and bursting with flavour

The shop has a great diversity of products from many countries. I normally go there to get Brazilian products (cuscuz, goma de tapioca, banana da terra, feijão fradinho, etc.).

Kilford Arms Hotel Kilkenny

21/07/2026: Room was very low end - no air conditioning in very high heat - and bathrooms were poor quality. Location is good and place has gated parking - but would likely find a better place next time.
20/06/2026: The service at the desk was great. The rooms are the down side of staying here. Our room didn’t have AC. They had a fan in the room but it was still very hot. The bathrooms were very dated and could use an update.

21/08/2026: Stopped in for a quick lunch and was so pleasantly surprised! The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Beautiful bar and immaculate bathrooms too!
