Kilkenny Ormonde in Kilkenny

We stayed good Fri till Easter Sunday and it was a pleasurable experience. Rooms where comfortable and spacious. Food was nice, staff where very friendly and helpful. When having breakfast on the Sunday the staff gave all the children an Easter egg which was a lovely gesture. The gym and pool where excellent for a morning work out and a swim with the grandkids . Will definitely be back .

Really nice hotel in the center of Kilkenny. The location is walkable to all the spots. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable and spacious. The service of the hotel staff is excellent and it has nice facilities with the bar and leisure center. Breakfast was also really nice and clean. One are of feedback however was they should probably use real orange juice or at least concentrate. Orange squash wasnt really cutting it for me in the morning.

Right in the town centre only minutes walk to the castle, pubs and shops. A discounted rate for car parking was very helpful. The staff where brilliant and very attentive. The lobby is a great place to relax and it has on site leisure and swimming pool

Just acceptable, no major complaints only that you have to pay for parking 🤔

What an impressive hotel! I had known about it but never realised how nice this hotel was. I attended a Neurodiversity conference there and everything about the hotel was as good as it gets - a very modern hotel, great location, fab food and very friendly and attentive staff - not least Mags who took care of a large number of people at the event with the minimum amount of fuss and the maximum amount of care and professionalism. Great to see somebody so friendly and so in love with what they're doing. Thanks Mags and all your team. I'll be back!

Really a great spot! Once we parked in the garage across the street, we walked everywhere. Shopping, food, medieval church attraction. Morning buffet breakfast had a nice selection of food and it was good. The room was clean, modern decorated.

Lovely hotel . great location in Kilkenny Hotel was cool near cold outside of your room. jackets and jumper in the foyer and bar Service was slow and breakfast was cold, yes your irish breakfast was cold . served on a warm plate ! but the actual items were cold . That service you got last year , not there last weekend. Different coffee in the bar or breakfast room . mostly if not all self service. The bar, slow service , find the barman ! went elsewhere to get the irish pub service and banter. Over kill along the corridors with electric scents . eye watering on the 3 rd floor. Rooms once you find your heating control you will raise the temperature beds confy . tea cofee in the room yes . but you have to look high and LOW to find

Wonderful experience here over the long weekend. Staff were lovely - very helpful, courteous and genuine which was refreshing, reception staff especially. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only fault would be the breakfast room where we were met with a rudest older woman - won't go into details but felt as if we inconveniencing her by being alive. The breakfast was just OK but the set up is very makeshift. Over all I'd recommend a stay - but maybe dine elsewhere.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. Location is great with discounted parking right next to hotel. Check in good, very plesant staff. Room was very nice, clean and modern, however window was a little drafty, but room was still warm. Breakfast was fine, not the biggest selection, but enough. The room its served in could do with a little TLC however, but all the staff were very plesant.Theres a lovely lobby area and bar seems nice. Didnt eat there, had some drinks, cocktails not great, very nice barman though. Overall, nice hotel, plesant staff, great location, would come back.
