17/10/2025: Definitely the best breakfast spot in town. The lady who runs the shop is super friendly! We enjoyed a *delicious* breakfast at the riverside!

28/10/2025: Pleasant experience in Primo, food was of a high standard. Pizzas cooked perfect, chicken Caesar salad was delicious & filling and the desserts were beautiful.. my daughter and I will be back

27/09/2025: Went for lunch. The best thing I could say about this place is that it was absolutely "fine". Here's my thoughts: Menu was quite limited ans was basically pub grub with the odd brunch item. Mainly sandwiches and soup although the soup didn't offer any vegetarian options just chicken. No baby change facilities we had to bring our baby to the pub next door and as the disabled toilet was engaged we ended up changing her on a couch in the back of the pub. Really unacceptable this day in age for a cafe/restaurant not to have adequate changing facilities. We ordered and were waiting approx 30 mins for a chicken wrap and eggs Benedict...which was warm at best. Food was ok, but the side salad looked and tasted like it came from a bag. The staff were friendly, but it has to be said they were v slow...the place was far from busy and they weren't exactly rushed off their feet. It took 15 mins for my coffee to be served. The cocktails did look decent,so maybe it's more suited to that kind of a vibe. We won't be going back for food any time soon. Price was also quite steep for what we received...like I said, a dressed up pub lunch. Management really need to address the baby changing situation given the large accessible toilet in the back. There's more than enough room to install a changing table!

24/08/2025: Was very disappointed with the service from the Staff. Our server was inattentive, and we had to wait a long time for our food. We came with kids and staffs do not want us to be in. All people should be treated equally,I hope you will address this issue."

14/10/2025: Rather over-priced café. Nice mezzanine space over looking main street. Friendly staff. Cramped toilet space. Upstairs venue so not wheelchair or child buggy friendly.

08/10/2025: Upstairs in the book centre. You have to wait to be seated. Fantastic menu here, I went for the fry yum yum. Staff are friendly and food excellent

22/10/2025: What a fantastic experience at Grapevine Kilkenny! The atmosphere was warm and lively, the service friendly and attentive, and the food absolutely delicious. We tried several dishes, but the highlight for us was definitely the paella — perfectly cooked, full of fresh seafood, rich flavours, and that authentic Spanish touch that made us feel like we were on holiday. The tapas were all beautifully presented and bursting with taste, especially the prawns with chorizo and the patatas bravas. The wine list is impressive too, with great Spanish options that pair perfectly with the food. The staff were so kind, taking the time to recommend both dishes and wines, which really made our evening special. A wonderful place to relax, enjoy amazing food, and soak up the great vibe. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back soon!
