KFC in Kilkenny

the zinger sandwich is a banger, the fries too. hot and fresh. We keep coming back

I recently visited KFC with my teenage kids and ordered a variety party box, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. The box was supposed to include 10 pieces of chicken, but the selection felt very unbalanced, we ended up with mostly drumsticks (five), only four small pieces of chicken, and just one wing. It didn’t feel like great value or a fair mix. The gravy was another letdown. It was much more watery than usual and didn’t have the rich, thick consistency I’ve come to expect. It just wasn’t the same quality. The popcorn chicken also seemed like it had been sitting for a while it was only slightly warm and lacked the usual crispiness, which made it far less enjoyable. Overall, the food didn’t meet expectations, especially for a family meal. It’s disappointing when you’re looking forward to a treat and the quality just isn’t there. Hopefully this was just a one off, but it definitely put a damper on our visit.
