22/07/2025: Rather good fish & chips! Everything is made & cooked fresh to order. Staff are friendly & lovely, & you're treated like family! It's cash only so be prepared as the nearest ATMs are over 5 minutes walk away

23/11/2025: Due to the low quality of food served when the manager Ginka previous rude blonde now dark haired lady i would advise people to go to mc Donald's as a regular customer here I can say the quality is hit or miss but it has become a miss now 90% of the time it's rare to get a quality meal which are not cheap I believe they make thousands in profit in the drive through by not giving you everything you paid for You will need to bring your own cleaning equipment because hygiene standards are low from the lobby tables not being cleaned to the toilets being filthy I have lost all hope in this place As a fan of KFC I would advise going to a different restaurant where your money is not wasted the trouble is they get it together for 2 or 3 months then it's back to rubbish fix your managers get it together ill try again in 3 months if I have another bad experience I'll be emailing HQ before you drag the KFC brand into to the gutter. Update This Restroom of a restaurant should be closed the food safety authority should be called on this farm its disgusting I was really hoping for a clean up but iv see cleaner Farm yards never again you should be ashamed of yourselves ya filthy restaurant the positive reviews are fake accounts

24/07/2025: Absolutely blown away by the cake Quigley’s made for my wife’s birthday! It looked stunning, tasted incredible, and was a real showstopper at the party. Everyone was asking where we got it from and my wife couldn’t have been happier! What made it even better was how quick and easy their online ordering service was. Simple to navigate, great communication, and everything was ready exactly as promised. Massive thanks to the whole team at Quigley’s for making the day extra special. We’ll definitely be ordering again for the next occasion! 🎂👏

22/11/2025: Got the king chicken burger. Chicken was very over done. Dark brown in colour, hard to bite into and chewy inside. Wouldn't order again. Chips were only warm also, not hot!

22/11/2025: When a restaurant uses the metal baskets to deliver fries, you know you're not getting alot. I purchased the 3 piece chicken meal which comes with beans and coleslaw. My son had fish and chips. While the chicken had flavour, the pieces I received were very small. The chips were dry and had very little flavour. My son's fish was good in size but again had little flavour. A really nice place with polite and friendly waiting staff. I loved the seating booth, however, I'd be reluctant to return because the food was at best, avarage.

03/11/2025: If you are looking for a greasy chipper for some comfort food after a feed of pints look no further. Also don't bother ordering chips, they'll throw some in with whatever you order anyways

08/10/2025: If i could give this place no stars i would. €40 on 2 chips, a kebab, battered burger, and nuggets. Not only waiting over an hour and a half but the food was absolutely disgusting. The place deserves to be burnt out of the town. Never in my life I've tasted anything as vile as this and i love my food but this i couldn't even eat. How can the be loads of sauce on a kebab and the meat still be dry and the chips my god, the chips were like eating dirt off the ground. If yous couldn’t even get a bag of chips right id hate to see what the rest of the menu looks like. You country people should be ashamed to even say this is a kilkenny chipper. And when i pass by ill make sure to let yous know how i feel.

22/06/2025: Sister had day two of wedding in beer garden .we had great night with great music.bar man was one ignorant man.daughter asked for hit water to heat a baby bottle to be told .this is not a café its a bar.i asked for two drinks just before they finishen 10.55 he refused me.told me im looking at you for another hour.how he still working there with his bad attitude is beyond me.pity because its a fine pub.

24/05/2025: Very ignorant, power tripping, condescending male manager/owner in the back beer garden when approaching paying complying customers. There is a way to talk to people but small man syndrome is an awful thing. plenty pubs In Kk, avoid here

15/09/2025: The wife and I really enjoyed our meals from here.the place was busy which goes to show how good it is.portion size was fantastic. Only here for a few days but would highly recommend to anyone to try this place.please give it a try and prove me wrong.

14/09/2025: We made a quick stop in Killkenny and had lunch here. The Italian waitress was really attentive and quick. Even though the 0.0 Guinness was empty, she topped everything up again for us at lunch. She recommended the Shepherd's Pie, which was excellent both in terms of both consistency and taste. The fries were delicious with the skin on and crispy. We also had the Sunday roast, which was also absolutely delicious! The price was really fair, too! It was also very cozy in the warm pub!

19/08/2025: After a day strolling around Kilkenny, the perfect ending: a great pub where you can eat and drink away from the hustle and bustle. Draught beer, Shepherd's Pie, and a friendly atmosphere make this a perfect place to dine in Kilkenny. P.S. The Italian girl serving was very kind and precise in describing the dishes! Good job!

20/05/2025: Was there at avent took 15 minutes together a drink even though I ordered people getting served before me had to call the girl behind the bar again said I was here first still left waiting

21/10/2025: I ordered from this restaurant last night while in Kilkenny. I ordered Hot and Sour Soup, Schezuen Chicken and a Chicken Chow Mein. The delivery was fast, the food arrived piping hot and the chow mein was of a good quality and tasty. That was where this all stopped! The hot and sour soup had sweet chilli in it, and had an overriding sweet flavour that was not pleasant. This was more of a sweet and nothing soup and definitely not hot and sour. I then opened the 'Schezuen' chicken and to my absolute disgust this was again a sweet chilli chicken and not a schezuen pepper in sight. I rang the restaurant to see if i had been given the wrong dish in error and I was told 'No they do Schezuen Chicken with sweet chilli'! Well then this is not Schezuen chicken but sweet chilli chicken. The flavour was not to my taste at all, it was so sweet when all I wanted was the yummy spiciness of schezuen peppers. To their credit they agreed to get the delivery driver to come back to collect the food, as I was not going to eat either of these dishes, and I have just received my refund today also. If the schezuen & soup had been to the standard of the chow mein, I would have given this 5/5 but unfortunately neither were the dishes advertised.
