22/06/2025: Sister had day two of wedding in beer garden .we had great night with great music.bar man was one ignorant man.daughter asked for hit water to heat a baby bottle to be told .this is not a café its a bar.i asked for two drinks just before they finishen 10.55 he refused me.told me im looking at you for another hour.how he still working there with his bad attitude is beyond me.pity because its a fine pub.

24/05/2025: Very ignorant, power tripping, condescending male manager/owner in the back beer garden when approaching paying complying customers. There is a way to talk to people but small man syndrome is an awful thing. plenty pubs In Kk, avoid here

21/06/2025: I live in Kilkenny and choose Langtons for breakfast with a few family members for a catch up we arrived and were seated at 10 45 am Saturday 15th March 2025, a lovely waitress came to our table we gave in our order,Tea and Toast arrived very quickly but from their the wait began,at 11:35 2 Raw (fried ?) Eggs were handed to one family member, so by that time the toast and tea was cold,,2 breakfast called the Works was what we could only describe as inedible,followed by scrambled egg which was cold and sat on a slice of bread which made the bread so wet and cold it was awful to say someone would be expected to butter let alone eat a sloppy slice of bread, next was steak and 2 poached eggs by this stage we called over the waitress and showed her the 2 poached Eggs were truly and utterly raw ,we did point out politely the rest of our foods cold potatoes cubes , burnt sausages ,bacon slices were like rubber and full of grease, black an white pudding was rock solid over cooked ,the waitress apologised and informed us that we would not be charged for the steak and raw eggs,the list is endless, over all this was a very disappointing experience from a place that I always highly recommended to family and visiting friends but sadly I won't be recommending Langtons food to family/ visitors again. Might I add the waitresses were lovely...From a very disappointed customer....NB...3 months after posting my review, i recieved an email informing me of a Responce from owner.... A Blank Responce !!! Lovely Treatment...

04/07/2025: Tuvimos una comida fabulosa aquí hoy en el bar Marble City, llegamos sin reserva y tuvimos la suerte de que nos sentaran de inmediato, Kevin, nuestro camarero, fue muy amable, servicial y paciente con 2 comensales quisquillosos, la comida era deliciosa y una experiencia encantadora en todos los sentidos, volveremos.

04/07/2025: En un viaje reciente a Kilkenny, tuve la suerte de pasar por el bar Marble City para almorzar. He visitado Kilkenny en muchas ocasiones pero nunca había comido aquí antes. Kevin, que era agradable, conversador y todo un caballero, me sirvió una comida deliciosa. Esto hizo que mi experiencia fuera muy placentera y tengo toda la intención de volver a venir aquí para comer.

06/06/2025: I absolutely love Kilkenny Kebabish! It’s one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The food is always delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The staffs are super friendly and make you feel welcome every time you step in. Plus, the customers are always cool and fun to chat with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a good vibe!

02/07/2025: Ordered delivery food got the wrong order rang to come back and change they wouldnt wanted me to drive back with the food to make sure it was wrong tried to reorder so they could exchange the food kept cancelling me order ended up having to order from another Chinese and pay out more money shockin service

05/04/2025: Great service, friendly staff, hot fresh food. Extensive menu with something for everyone. Delivery service is the best in kilkenny, only chipper that I have ordered from that delivers within the timeframe that is given and when the food arrives, it’s hot and the order is correct. Wouldn’t go anywhere else when thinking of burgers and chips.

24/07/2025: Absolutely blown away by the cake Quigley’s made for my wife’s birthday! It looked stunning, tasted incredible, and was a real showstopper at the party. Everyone was asking where we got it from and my wife couldn’t have been happier! What made it even better was how quick and easy their online ordering service was. Simple to navigate, great communication, and everything was ready exactly as promised. Massive thanks to the whole team at Quigley’s for making the day extra special. We’ll definitely be ordering again for the next occasion! 🎂👏

02/07/2025: Excellent soda bread! Came in for a bowl of soup (also very nice) and liked the bread so much we got a loaf for home. The innner covered courtyard is really nice as well.

25/05/2025: Restaurant is very nicely decorated, staff are friendly and efficient, but just my opinion the food wasn't nice and not impressed with the menu, much preferred the old menu much more choice. Portions a lot smaller and very expensive for what you get. I won't be rushing back unfortunately and I always loved Mario's 😔

02/02/2025: We went with our hen party and left disappointed. One of our party was allergic to mushrooms and made this clear, yet when her steak arrived it had mushroom on it. When she sent it back the new steak was burnt. When this was pointed out the staff member replied "okay" and nothing was done. She felt like she was being an annoyance, yet it was the staff who couldn't get her order correct and were making her feel that way. Those who ordered steak were asked how they liked it done but all steaks were cooked the same. One of our friends also waiting a very long time, 40+ mins for her food, we were all eating while she was there with nothing for ages. We were also overcharged and had to correct the staff and again were made to feel like an annoyance. As a Kilkenny local I hadn't ever been to Breatnachs and this experience wouldn't entice me back.
